I have been hospitalized for the second time in three months at UPMC Northwest. Both times I was admitted through the ER and placed on 3 North. I found all the staff from nursing, medical, and ancilliary staff to be competent, caring, and excellent in knowledge and care. I can not stress how much easier an illness can be coped with knowing that such care is available. Did a wonderful job taking care of my wife. UPMC thank you for your dedicated service and excellence.
Don't care about any of this crap. Should make this countries heath care like that in Canada, and Europe. It's way cheeper because they don't let the health care providers push their wait around, theggovernment tells them who ever can give all our people safe hip replacements at a safe and affordable price will be picked and so on.
We came from out of state (to visit family) & both my mother & brother got sick. We do have state insurance from where we live & when we told them that- they seemed to care a lot less while my mom wasn't fully conscious & brother in & out of consciousness. Then they prescribed medicine that both were allergic to. You could say that common curtsy wasn't there strongpoint.
Great hospital and great nurses. Loved my private room setting. Much more relaxing
Took a long time for husband to get into a room. But once there the nurses and doctors were awesome as always
Following my sister's extended stay post surgery, I take every opportunity to commend her surgeon and medical team plus the entire 4th floor ICU team that provides outstanding care the entire time. She's home now, resting and recouping, thankful for each day she gets to enjoy.
I wouldn't trust UPMC to operate on a teddy bear. They don't care about their patients.
