First phone numbers and directions should be updated so you're not talking with or at Rooney complex, second I'm handicap n after walking miles around from different information desks was told the patient was not there. Not on anyone's board or in computer for either hospital was what not one but three different areas said. Only to find out after paying ticket n not able to exit n reenter did I find out that he was there all along
Family member was told they were not sick enough to be admitted. Was released with a very low BP. and a very active infection. Over night the family member couldn't breathe, BP is still super low has the same rattle in the chest. No they are a little confused and because of the ER Dr's great diagnosis she is afraid to go back to the ER in fear of getting the same Dr and getting told she is not sick enough to be treated. Sorry about your stay at UPMC. I have had 2 major surgerys and have received the up most care from them. The rooms have always been taken care of. I still have to come again for another surgery and wouldn't want it at any other place.
i have surgery and appointments there. it is near my apartment. i can take a taxi if i need to do so. as for my future, i am going to stick with what i know. i feel at this time i am in the best hands possible.
Best Doctors, Nurses, and all Staff!! Very accomodating and friendly!! It was wonderful to have Free coffee, juices, fruit & snacks while I stayed here with my husbands surgery & recovery!! A++++++
