My daughter was treated yesterday at the UPMC Bedford for an ear infection. (12/27/16). We were an hour into our drive from VA to IL when my 5 year old complained of an earache. I knew the drive would be brutal on her through the mountains. The staff was wonderful to her and her 7 year old sister. They were kind, listened to us and did a great job with a very uncomfortable, cranky child. A good night's sleep and amoxicillin and we should make it to Grandma and Grandpas in good shape! Thank you UPMC Bedford!
Fabulous hospital with a wonderful caring staff. Excellent doctors and surgeons who were extremely helpful to these out-of-town folks from a small rural area. I cannot say enough about those who cared for John during his time there. Shout out for those who work on 10 North! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
My Mother has a chronic ankle wound infection sense Feb. 2015. She has been to the UPMC Seneca, inpatient, 4 times and every time the ankle wound is completely ignored. Now discharged to Sugarcreek Station Nursing Facility, and again, no one knows anything about her ankle wound. At both facilities the nurses were told several times about it and completely ignore us.Yesterday I was finally able to get a nurse to atleast fax her Doctor to get an order to change the dressing. Terrible!! My sister had a heart attack! When he was being sent home the staff at Passavant asked her to remove her own IV!! The staff involved has found my sister on facebook and harrassing her because they were wrong!! Tried to private message but no reply!!
Good hospital I like it to good help care in pa usa
This has to be the shittiest hospital to deal with. First, Hamot in Erie looses my son's blood work twice. So he has to get it painfully done again. Next my wife gets reffered there for oral surgery. After a consultation they never called back. Our primary Dr. called and they hung up on him. We called and never returned our calls. Our Dr. sets us up with another UPMC oral surgeon. My wife gets her jaw cut open for a bone sample. A week later we get told they lost the sample. WTF? So now she has to get another painful operati... read more
My son had surgery on Nov 29th 2016. He was sent home on Dec 2nd. He was suppose to have a wound vac. I was told it would arrive at my house on the 3rd. The nurse felt it was okay for him to change the dressings (wet/dry) on an incision, that is 19 cm by 4 cm and is 3 cm deep. One day! I had at home nurses come in to do this, because he could not.
