UPMC is closing small offices, such as the one in Linesville, PA. Closing these small offices will result in many people going without healthcare. We have an Amish community that simply will not be able to travel to another town. I personally will be affected because I need weekly shots that I will not be able to get because I cannot take off half a day of work each week in order to go to another doctor in another town. I don't understand why there are no stars in a negative direction. I have a grandson who receives mental health care from WPIC, or should I say no care. He has attempted to kill himself several times and his parents take him to hospital and 302 him, 3 HOURS later they release him. I voiced my concern on their website and got some smug women call to tell me the so called doctors found him to be stable. Who tries to kill themself twice in a week and is stable. Its a great place to visit and when I need help they are ready to give it!!!
It was not kind,friendly,did not know how to help me,even on tv say they can fix things and sent me home no better then went in,nurses have bed side manners, I did not and do not want to be sick,but I did choose to go to upmc and still came home sick.
Yesterday I took our children to our PCP, Dr. Watson, at Pymatuning Family Medicine. I was heartbroken & disgusted to find out you are closing her office at the end of the month. To make matters worse, you initiated a non-compete clause & she cannot practice within a specified area. Dr. Watson is from our community. It is hard to find quality care in an economically depressed areas like Linesville. Dr. Watson gets 5 stars, but I would give your company a big fat 0 for this decision!
Love all the people in the Cancer Center, could not ask for better nurses and doctors!!!!
