I can't say enough about the amazing team at Magee-Womens, UPMC Hamot!!! Every single person we encountered throughout our experience showcased the utmost compassion and care. They define what it means to provide extraordinary patient care. I have never been more proud to be a part of the UPMC Hamot family. Totally incompetent. I paid the bill in full but they are unable to find payment even though I've sent them copies of the cashed check both front & back which proves payment in full. They've turned name into collection agency. I have spent hours on the phone and they have been unable to resolve this & find my payment. So I am out the money & they can't find it, even though my canceled check shows they received it.
My father died on May 3, 2016. He was taken off life support without any comfort meds being ready. My family and I listen to him scream help me for over 10 minutes before the nurse got the medication for him. This is a memory that will always be in my mind. I pray this never happens to anyone else
I was in this hospital for 8 days and I had wonderful care.
