The Hamot Heart institute is very good. The doctors are awesome.
Dr. Marsh is top notched. He was so calming and kept me at ease leading up to my surgery. I am forever grateful for him and the rest of the staff I encountered!
I have spent the last 6 days with my dad who was a patient on the 8th floor. In all that time, I never met a member of the staff who was grumpy. It has been a wonderful experience.
Waited 2 hours with a terrible migraine before going elswhere, my insurance company still got charged for the visit!
The hospital staff here is so slow it's unbelievable and so far I've had to walk my nurse through the steps of addressing my wound care as best of my ability....last time I checked they were already supposed to know these things...and then I had to fight to get the same pain meds I was on in upmc hamot in erie and still didn't get them....they only ordered a single use dose and wouldn't order more....I have only been here for 5 hours also.....this place is a joke
