I been with Firestone for many years with several cars, and never had a problem. Just recently encounter a issue with my daughter's care and thought they had damaged it, but after further analysis done by Eric, Rick and others at the Garners Ferry Rd. Location the problem was resolved. Although it took longer than normal, I am please with the outcome. Please disregard any previous comments made by me on this site. Al. K

971 Walnut Ave, New Braunfels, TX. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Should have read the reviews first, would not have gone there. Went in to get my engine light turned off. They said they would run a complete diagnostics which would take around two hours. Five minutes later they come in and the mechanic, Jeremy (who was genuinely a good guy), said before he runs a diagnostic he checks the gas nozzle area and sure enough there was a little plastic ring that had dislodged and he took it out. Lost this customer for life. I had purchased a new battery in May of 2017. In September 2019 my car wouldn't start so I went back to Firestone and they assured me the battery was still good but did explain there is a pro-rated warranty since it was just outside of the two year replacement time. No problem, the cleaned my battery terminals and I even bought new tires. A month later and again my car won't start and I have to get a jump. Been Firestone Customer for 11 years. Worst service I ever had. I have a ************* and was recommended 5 tire rotation with oil change. Took about 2.5 hours. When I got in vehicle had to go back inside to see if someone could reset my oil change light. This was on October 29th. The next morning I noticed the low tire pressure light was on, and a hub was missing from my speciality rims. I have taken my cars to Firestone for the past 25 years and to the Bellaire location for the past 11 years. The service has been OK, I expected and experienced up selling from them. But that has been the case at most car shops I have taken my car to. My problem started this year 2019 at the Bellaire location. On May, 2019 I took my car for an oil change and when I got home and opened the car hood, a screw driver had been left in the engine compartment. Just want everyone to know that Firestone work on my son's car (graduation gift that he never received) and blew up the engine. I drive the vehicle there to get brakes, oil change and inspection. After they did all the work, they called me to let me know the car won't start. They did something because the car drove fine and started in their shop to move from bay to bay. Price deception: 1. About 2 months ago I was told about this ( 9/12/19) weekends special and that there were discounts for my wheel alignment, so I selected to do the alignment during this event. I was originally quoted $189 back in July, but the lifetime wheel alignment is now $199-$40 discount. Ethically it should look like $189-$40 discount on my bill. Took my car in for an oil change. The service advisor Gabriel called me to tell me that I had (2) bulbs out. For the two to be replaced, it would be around $56.00. I said, no thank you. I will replace them myself. I picked up my car and to my surprise, both of the worked. I called the shop to speak with Gabriel and he swore up and down that they were out and then said I must have a short. I had my vehicle in for tire repair in mid july. Firestone did a complete 21 pt inspection and advised that my brakes and rotors were great. I drove it for 4k miles and noticed a bad vibration. Took it **** to find out rotors are warped and brakes were bad as well. When I brought it to the attention of Firestone the Manager Cameron tried to tell me that the rotors warped because of driving it on the highway in the mountains.
