I made an appointment for Sunday, May 12, 2019 for 9:00 am to have my brakes on my car inspected at the Crofton TiresPlus location. I thought that I may have needed to get them replaced because I would hear an occasional grinding sound when I would apply my brakes. The attendant was pleasant enough. I told her that my driver's side tag light was out and was wondering if the mechanic could look at it. This is for the Firestone located at 406 Gallatin Ave in east Nashville. Despicable practices. They loosened a bolt on my rack and pinion, creating a leak of power steering fluid. When I brought my car back to them they wanted $1300, TO TIGHTEN A BOLT THEY LOOSENED ON PURPOSE. I really wish I could prove this legally and sue these crooks! They put me my life in danger so they could get more money out of me. I want to puke.

My Granddaughter, a student at ******, brought her car to Firestone at 2200 Interstate Dr in Opelika, Al on a recent Sunday for a tire repair. She was on her way home but the service advisor, James, convinced her that she needed a wheel alignment and oil change before she could make the trip home. These services certainly were not an emergency but she felt intimidated by the service advisor. The mileage for the previous oil change was 21,000. We have had our car in there a few times. Should have learned our lesson the first time. Every time they did work, it wasnt done right or they fixed the wrong thing. They've always said they would make it right but never actually did. We have dropped nearly $2000 there and my car still isnt right. Took my car for a 2nd opinion and was told that the strut was put on crooked. And the sway bar links were the actual issue.

I have never experienced a worse customer service experience than I did with Firestone. I went to Firestone in Myrtle Beach, SC 120 Loyola drive. I told them that the truck was not starting and I think it might be the starter, I'm not sure. They replaced the starter and a terminal. The truck was still not starting correctly and I brought it back the second day explaining the problem. The service manager Robert M. Told me he was not going to fix it for free or even look at it. Wow! This is like my 6th or 7th time to Firestone on Hwy 92 over the last 3 months! I got a set of tires (Firestone Champions) in February, immediately I noticed the car was pulling! So I took it back, they changed out the tire, but the car now had a vibration! Really! So I took it back, again! Reluctantly they changed the tires out, they upgraded the tires and charged me another $100! But the adventure is not over, the car was still vibrating even worse! This is for the Galveston, Texas Firestone Complete Car Care location. STAY AWAY. After ONE oil change the engine developed a terminal loud internal engine noise/knock. The best guess is the oil quantity was not fully replaced at the oil change. So over a few weeks, the oil consumption goes up, eventually leading to damaging lubrication, then mechanical engine damage and engine death. Went in for service two weekends ago and a thoundsand dollars later, the job was still not completely done then I ask the manager why, he argued with me, upset my wife, and she left crying. I contacted customer service, District manager, vice president, president, and then a customer specialist. they did nothing and my truck is still not completely fixed. where I'm from a thousand dollar is alot of money, and upsetting someone's wife is a first class afence. I received service from firestone 2/18/19 I went in for a quick routine oil Change before my appointment in which the technician said he can complete the job in a timely manner so that I could make it to my appointment. After receiving service I left two hours later on my way home my vehicle stopped and never started back up.
