i have been a HGVC member since 2016 and the services and cost for the packages a subpar, i can book a stay at any of the resorts less than the cost of my annual membership, not to mention the $25000 that i have to invest to do so. DO NOT BUY A VACATION PACKAGE THROUGH HGVC. If there was a way out of this i would choose it today. I will tell everyone i know to avoid the HGVC packages

If I could give a negative report I would! I stayed with Diamond Resorts years ago and they were great but apparently they've either been sold or merged with someone because now they are an absolute scam. I stayed with them in Orlando last year and sat through a 5+ hour sales pitch...it was supposed to be 1 hour but they will not let you out of the building. I also had to wait 4 months and many calls and emails to get the "gifts" for attending. Since then I have received many calls from them with great offers. The last call ... read more

We first learned of Diamond when we were approached by one of their employees while walking in downtown Las Vegas. They offered free gifts in exchange for attending a short sales presentation, which we accepted. We were told of all of the lavish vacations that we could take and all of celebrities that we would be able to vacation with. I originally owned a timeshare with another company that was purchased by Diamond. I was told by their sales reps that I needed to upgrade my membership to remain in their system or that I would lose all of the equity that I had accumulated. Hilton Grand Vacations is a SCAM. We were told we could vacation anywhere anytime and could travel globally. This was not true, as we have since discovered. I am a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served for 1976 to 1980. I was also in the MI Air National Guard from 1980 to 1981. As one who has served, I expect to be treated with respect. I will never join this timeshare company. I was offered a 3 night stay in Powhatan Resort for $199. Once I took my 3 night vacation at one of 12 specific resorts and went to their sells speech, I would receive $100 MC back and a 7 night vacation I could pick from over 1000 locations. I went to one of the resorts in Tennessee and received a call the day before the sells speech and told they were canceling all sells meetings for that week. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. We have been trying tirelessly for months to get our contract cancelled. We have been writing/sending online complaints, and emailing to inform them that we no longer wish to remain in contract with their company. This purchase was meant to save us thousands of dollars in the long run on vacations and give us the ability to travel anywhere in the world at any time, however, that has not been the case. Pressure and you do not get what they promise. I am willing to give away my timeshare because it is worthless. I would not give it one star. I am only giving one star because I have to.

If I could give a negative rating I would!!! These people are CROOKS!!! They are LIARS!!! This man lied to my face and NO ONE is willing to do ANYTHING about it! We were on our Dream Vacation. As always you have to attend a seminar. We attended as told and were bamboozled..The man that we were dealing with is a bold face LIAR! He made like we were already approved for our upgrade.
