I accepted an offer for a promotional 3-day stay so that I could take my daughter to Disney World. When I arrived at the sales presentation, I told the employees repeatedly that I needed to get back to my daughter so that we could go to Disney World like I had promised, but they would not stop pressuring me into a purchase. is easy to say that the timeshare did not fulfill the promises that were said in the meeting. The first trip we took was to Breckenridge for our late honeymoon. It was a lot harder to book then we were promised. There was a waiting period to book before we could book the room. I am a Hilton Club member and am happy with them, however the Grand Vacation folks leave much to be desired. 2 years ago, I was contacted by them to try a several-day stay in Orlando, plus a discounted cruise for a considerable up-front fee necessary to secure both. We were unable to find a satisfactory date for the stay in Orlando despite attempting numerous times. Eventually, they stopped responding to me and my emails... and have kept all my money!! A former timeshare owner of a Diamond Resorts Ocean Beach Club in Virginia Beach, finally free at last from my contract with escalating high maintenance fees and high pressure sales tactics used on owners during "presentations". So thankful that I have escaped from a life sentence of lifetime of vacations and traumatic experiences with the owners updates and lengthy sales presentations at the hands of diamond resorts employed sales sharks. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. They point level they sold us doesn't afford any vacation time, so we currently convert the points to hotel stays. We called to politely cancel and they gave us the run around. We paid off the loan in hopes they would just take it back and still no. They are forcing us to pay for our ignorance. Don't be like us avoid Hilton Grand Vacations and any timeshare like the plague.

We have had nothing but horrible experiences with Hilton Grand Vacations. We were told that we were purchasing a piece of tangible real estate that we could sell at any time. Imagine our surprise when we went to do so and learned that there was no value to what we owned. We have 6481 Sampler points with Diamond that we can't get them to book because they say the computer will not let them book because we have Transition out of our ownership at Sunrise Ridge Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We are talking apple and oranges, we paid for these points, they belong to us.
