If you are thinking about purchasing a timeshare with Hilton, please know that it is a SCAM!!!!!! We have been trying to cancel our membership for MONTHS emailing, writing letters and online complaints to a company who can only say "sorry we can't help you" and sends you hardship paperwork to fill out for payment options. Employees will call you asking for money if your payments are behind but won't ask you about the 20 complaints you have already sent it. We were given two free days of lodging at a Hilton hotel in Manhattan, as a lure into their sales presentation. We were given gift certificates for various services. We were told that HGV provided access to over 7,000 properties around the world, including Thailand-a complete lie. They are a bunch of liars and thieves. Don't buy the package. It's a bait and switch scam. I was promised we could stay at the Elaro and they said it was full and we had to stay at the Trump Tower. Worst place Ever! No supervisors to speak with, everyone is a broken record saying "too bad".

HGV is a predatory, fraudulent, high-pressure sales scam. Conrad Hilton must be rolling over in his grave knowing how his reputation is being tarnished by HGV. If you attend a sales presentation you can count on being: lied to, promised things that HGV has no intention of providing, and forced to attend not only the mandatory sales presentation but also a high-pressure sales effort that will last several hours. can we give zero stars? This company is a complete rip off. We bought in in Hawaii, paid over 50K for the points. We can NEVER find openings at the hotels to book through the points, yet the same properties are available on any of the travel sites - hotels.com, tavelocity, kayak... Booking a week at these properties through 3rd parties will cost you less than what it will cost you for enough points in your membership for a stay of the same duration. It is quite simple, we were sold a product that was misrepresented! When we communicated our dissatisfaction with Hilton Grand Vacations, our issues and concerns were dismissed. It is not fair for a company to expect owners to pay for a timeshare that was purchased based on false promises made by the company's sales representatives. Hilton Grand Vacations continues to hide behind the contract language and refuses to cancel our contract. I'm an investor and being signed up with this contract has been more negative than positive. I've gone to make an investment for work and was unable to because of this timeshare. Not sure what HGVC would have to do with anything in this case. This is on top of the fact that I wasn't able to use the package as I was promised on numerous occasions.
