NJ ***** 04/2015 HGVC is a joke. Never had any issues with Hilton as a company until I signed up for this timeshare show. i was retiring and would have never planned on getting a timeshare but they convinced me by telling me that this wasn't a timeshare rather a prepaid vacation plan. They pushed an AMEX card on us which again, had no intentions of getting, but between all the "discounts" it sounded like an OK service to get. DO NOT PURCHASE WITH HILTON GRAND VACATIONS!!!!!!!!! I am honestly out of options at this point. Hilton has no regard for what they have done and continue to do to many people. We have been trying to cancel our membership with them since April. It was sold to us under deception and lies. We were not given a chance to read the contract before signing, and no one explained terms to us. After initially using most of the bonus points that we acquired through the purchase of this timeshare, we have had zero luck trying to book a resort that we would like to stay. I have tried to book time at Hilton Head which is somewhere that we told them we always travel to, we continue to find that we don't have enough points for the resort that they have there or we don't need a two-bedroom and that's all they have available, I eventually booked a stay through the RCI-affiliate (not the club points) and when I had to canc... read more

Do not buy from this company. The deliberately lie during the sales presentations offering free week then claiming they can't provide. They will tell you on the phone that you may use your points a certain way and a week later tell that is not true. I forced them to pull a record of the initial phone call and they backed off. They will claim to assist on your account and never respond. I have been trying to get them to correct my points total for four months and every time they promise to check and get back to me. I have been in contact with numerous people at this company, and I don't feel that I am being taken seriously with my requests to return this timeshare to Hilton Grand Vacations. Since the only feedback I've received has been telling me how much I still owe you and pointing the finger at me for signing the contract, I want to go over, AGAIN to the public, the reasons I no longer want this. We were offered a free 3-night stay at the Trump Towers in Las Vegas in exchange for a 1-hour presentation. At the time we went we were in agreement that we would not purchase a timeshare. However due to the high-pressure sales and the multiple hours of "information", we finally said fine just so we could leave. Please do not make the mistake of buying with HGVC. They are only out for your money and will do and say whatever they have to take that money. They lied, manipulated, conned and schemed me into purchasing with them. After the fact, I realized what I signed up for was not anything that was promised to me. I have repeatedly reached out to Hilton Grand Vacations to discuss my complaints with being a timeshare owner. I have been given the runaround and the company refuses to acknowledge my legitimate complaints. My experience all began at one of their sales presentations. I'm confused at how Hilton runs their corporation. For being a hospitality brand, they sure do not put much time or effort into their customer care. We have been unhappy with our timeshare for years and all of their departments have not been very accommodating with our upsets at all. When we've tried to speak with the sales staff and attend meetings to get our questions and upsets answered, but that never happens. We've been left with upgrades, denials, no responses.
