Like so many others that I've read, we too are extremely unhappy with our ownership of our Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare. We are current with our mortgage payments and maintenance fees. We have asked Hilton for months now for assistance in selling or giving back our timeshare ownership. We have been given the runaround and feel that they are pushing us off in hopes we will just continue to blindly pay them. In October, we got a warranty deed for our contract, starting in 37-16, to surrender it to Hilton. We have yet to get a confirmation of that being fully taken back. We have one remaining contract with the company and have been going back and forth for some time now. We reach out directly about getting out of the remaining contract, and we were told, "HGV is not offering certain non-essential operations, including programs to reacquire timeshares from existing HGV owners due to covid.". This company is awful. I am a veteran of 15 years in the U.S. Air Force and as one who has served, I deserve to be treated with respect. But their salespeople did not give us time to read the contract, and they did not go through terms with us. As a result, we did not know that maintenance fees would rise each year. These prices are outrageous. We would've NEVER signed that contract if we would've known what we know now. They failed to perform under the terms of the contract. DON'T BUY A TIMESHARE THROUGH HILTON GRAND VACTIONS. I bought my first timeshare in 2019 at some dump in Orlando because it was the cheapest. The Hilton team told me that most people that buy timeshares never stay at the timeshare they purchased. Hilton said I could use the points to stay at any of many locations they have. After months of trying to plan a vacation using points, I found out points were useless unless you want to stay somewhere like Las Vegas. THIS IS A SCAM ---- DO NOT BUY I have been trying to cancel my timeshare with Hilton for going on a year now. I have sent in complaint after complaint trying to get somebody to reach out to me for help. They have offered 0 solutions. They have offered 0 help. They just expect unhappy customers to accept a denial letter saying "sorry we can't help you"? Which was sent to me in August from them and that is the LAST reply I have gotten from them. Do not fall into their trap. I remember receiving a call from Hilton Grand Vacations offering a 4 days 3 nights package which included: $200 Spend a Night on Us Certificate and a $50 Visa Gift Card. Plus, $100 towards theme park tickets. All of this for only just $167.62 if we are willing to spend 90 minutes listening to a presentation. This timeshare is the worst ever. They raise fees all the time , They charge for everything. You can never get the week you want at a resort. Don't ever buy this!!

This timeshare and relationship with Hilton Grand Vacations has caused significant stress and financial harm to our family. Due to retirement income has decreased and we cannot continue to afford the increasing maintenance fees since there's no end date in sight. These fees are ever-increasing and others should be careful if you are a timeshare owner or thinking about purchasing one! This is a disaster I have a foreclosure on my record because of Hilton Grand Vacations the only thing grand about it is them screwing you over. They have robbed me I will never get into a home for 7 years of my life it is like going to prison and having your life robbed. Please avoid this company like the plague.
