Buyer beware been a owner for 3yrs there shady used car salesmen almost worst. Started with the sampler that you could suppose to be able to use anywhere that was a lie. Then oh if you buy into ownership no restriction you have all this access no that is wrong lie again. Now they want the deed into the trust and for you to pay $50k because we don't have full access now. Beware of Diamond Resorts International The Diamond Resorts International is using extortion tactics with me and my husband. I don't recommend that any one person or couple purchases ownership or points through them. If so, hire a good lawyer first before signing any contract. The reason is that they can require unlimited maintenance fees, which is hidden in a seemingly harmless clause in the contract. We were offered a Las vegas getaway in return for a 90-minute time-share presentation. This meeting ended up being well over 90 minutes long. In the meeting, we were told about all the different benefits this would bring us--things like the following. To echo much of what others are saying this is a TERRIBLE group. We were pressured into buying in and it has been a nightmare since. I gave up using and just paid a ridiculous fee to convert my points to simple Hilton points. But today I wanted to actually book an available site in Orlando. The nightmare began again. DO NOT PURCHASE from Hilton Grand Vacation Club. You can spend your money much better with other vacation deals. The homeowners fees are very high now since I purchased. I paid my mortgage on time for years. Now I am 70, had problems a couple years paying on time because of surgeries and they are ruthless - collections right away, no leeway. Stack up the interest fees and late fees with little consideration for covid or anything else. DO NOT BUY HGVC TIMESHARE I have been trying to get someone to help me with cancelling my timeshare since JUNE. I have been ultimately unsuccessful and IGNORED by the reps there. They will do anything they can to make sure you are trapped in this financial nightmare for life. They haven't even given me any solutions or any help. STAY AWAY FROM HGVC!! With no intention of purchasing a timeshare, we attended an HGVC presentation while on a short vacation to learn more about timeshares. THINK TWICE ABOUT BUYING A HILTON TIMESHARE. I have been trying to get out of our HILTON TIMESHARE for months. Almost a year now. The HILTON TIMESHARE was paid for in full when purchased. We can't use it now but are obligated to an annual maintenance fee--which we simply can no longer afford to pay. I am truly disappointed in Hilton. I expected more from them than what they're giving. During a pandemic and folks that had their salaries cut, Hilton didn't have a "COVID plan" in place, thereby, the customers that had maintenance fees come up, were pretty much on their own OR in Hilton terms (according to the Hilton Rep, Amanda), "we were given the option to pay the maintenance fees before this".
