Wow, where to start. I bought into this thinking it would be easy to use and we could vacation at all these great Hilton locations. WRONG! Its nothing like they tell you. On April 28, 2021, Wednesday, I called Hampton Inn in New Smyrna Beach and made reservation for two days with our dogs. After the reservation, the person asked if I would hold on for one of their big promotions. I agreed, since we are looking for somewhere to go on vacation w/o the dogs. I was offered a vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC, if I attend a meeting. This wasn't just a presentation meeting like I thought it would be. It ended up being a very long high-pressure sales meeting. They talked so highly of this offer and how it would be so affordable, would make traveling so easy, and would be a great investment. Nothing they say is at all true. DO NOT EVER BUY A HILTON TIMESHARE. We've asked them for a release for several months and they won't even respond to us. We have already paid off our mortgage and given them approximately $47,000. The biggest mistake we could've ever made was doing business with this company. The contract was signed in New York NY on October 20, 2015. We have requested for Hilton to terminate our contract for months now. They have not addressed our concerns one time. They were not honest about numerous details of the contract when selling this to us. There is no outstanding debt in this matter. We've asked that they nullify the contract and issue a full refund to us of all we have spent, $27,500. DO NOT BUY WITH THIS COMPANY! We have been trying to cancel this timeshare for MONTHS and have received no help whatsoever from Hilton. We have sent in multiple complaints through email, letters, and online complaints through their website. While we have used our timeshare in the past, we have no intention of using it in the future. Liars, cheats, and terrible human beings is what I think. My mother and father were staying at Diamond resorts in December and due to Covid only attended their "update" and an event of a lifetime and my mother got covid. She went to the ER on Christmas day and passed **** on the 30th. I was visiting a resort in Utah when I was asked to attend a presentation with Diamond. I had previously been an owner with Monarch Grand Vacations and was told that this meeting was needed to address changes due to COVID. When I arrived at the presentation, I was told that since Monarch had gone bankrupt, I was being given the opportunity to upgrade into the Diamond system so that I did not lose my equity or see my maintenance fees increase to the point where they would be unaffordable.
