They can't even get through their marketing program ethically! I purchased a 5 day/4 night stay at Waldorf Astoria Maui in Jan. 2021. They say that it is subject to availability. I am writing this review in July 30, 2023 .... 19 months AFTER PAYING THEM $1000. The property remains UNAVAILABLE!!! Now they basically tell me that this property is not the property they use for their marketing. Not my problem. That's what they sold me. That's what I bought. The timeshare people for Hilton are absolutely rude! And ultimately made my decision not to sign up for the timeshare! Had a very unpleasant experience!! They made you feel like you were stupid. And that you were a joke! I’m so happy I didn’t get my timeshare through Hilton as I had better experience elsewhere! Step your game up cause your corporate representive and financial representive were jerks!!

My husband and I entered into a Hilton Grand Vacations contract a year ago, and so far, our experience has been HORRIBLE. In May 2022, we received a call offering a three-night vacation for an enticing price. All we had to do was attend a short meeting, or so we were told. Please, Please, Please dont go to any timeshare presentation by this company. I don't care what they offer you to go. They claim so much and it's totally false. Just got back from Oahu and we fell for the whole no pressure presentation just to get a discount on our island tour. We were told it would be a 2 hour presentation and then back to the hotel. Horrible experience. Pressure sales and lying is in their blood. Bought a trial package for $1695 before purchasing a larger package. So far in 6 months I have not been able to book anywhere we want to go even 6 months in advance. They were able to find availability where we don't want to go. Changing terms of point usage. 2 weeks turned to 1 week and then 4 days. I could have paid same amount to book a better place on Expedia for longer time. No more Hilton for us. I can say with all honesty that it has been a huge MISTAKE for me to buy into Diamond/Hilton grand vacations timeshare. My initial investment started in 2001 with 2500 points deeded at the Ridge in Sedona. Since then, I have been frustrated numerous times with not being able to find availablity and being invited to owner updates that were nothing but high pressured meetings that lasted up to 4 hours. Hilton Grand Vacation is a complete joke! Anyone reading these reviews better avoid at all cost. My wife and I payed for a vacation with Hilton Grand Vacation in Daytona Beach Florida back in October 2022. We were told that the hotel was one of their finer beach hotels. I recently stayed at this resort and unfortunately the day I arrived, I received a call there was a death in my family. I had to reschedule my return flight to leave a day earlier due to this situation. The day I arrived, 7/20/2023 I informed the front seat when I checked in I would be checking out a day early, 7/23/2023 instead of 7/24/2023 as originally planned. My late wife and I purchased 5,000 points from Sunterra in 2003. We had used these points up until my wife’s unfortunate passing due to cancer in 2007. From then on, I continued to travel solo and never interacted with Diamond Resorts, the owner of Sunterra, until around 2014. Once Diamond Resorts got involved, it all went downhill and became harder to get reservations and got significantly more expensive.
