We had a negative experience purchasing a timeshare from your HGV. During the sales process, we were subjected to hours of intense pressure and misinformation. We were promised so many things that simply were not true. Things like getting rental income, and easy and luxurious vacations. We didn’t have enough points to go anywhere, which didn’t matter since getting reservations is a nightmare anyway, even when we reached Platinum status. Hilton Grand Vacations, well first of all there’s nothing ‘Grand’ about them, they lie and deceive you into signing a contract, it does not matter how many times you say ‘no’, they continue to pester you. We declined multiple offers and yet still ended up signing a contract. The interest rate was really high, but they said not to worry, we can go home and refinance the loan after 90 days but guess what…BANKS DON’T REFINANCE TIMESHARES! I cannot tell you all how shocked I am that a company full of crooks is still in business. HGV has done nothing but lie to me and take my money. If your concerns about timeshares are financial, I’ll lay out all the fees I have personally seen and/or paid. $336 for our initial 4-night stay used to trick us into buying. $100 to reschedule. Horrible, horrible, horrible... They should be shut down permantenly or sued..... I was gifted this time share from my parents in October of 2022 It is now June of 2023 and it is still not resolved. The time share was suppose to have a point system of 10,500 points I have paid the yearly fees in January, sent all the required documentation and it is still not resolved. My wife and I were pressured by multiple sales representatives during a four-hour long presentation by Hilton Grand Vacations to buy a timeshare we had no interest in and could not afford. Despite our reservations, we were coerced into signing a contract that has caused us a great deal of stress. I am a Hilton Diamond member, I have been a diamond member for some years now. I purchased one of their timeshare presentation packages back in 2020 at the height of the pandemic. I travel with Hilton and spend thousands of dollars per year out of my own pocket staying over 100 to 150 nights per year with Hilton at different resorts or hotels.
