I was approached with option of prepaying for a vacation package at an amazing discount and 50,000 points. I finally booked my prepaid vacation and when I get there everything was half of what I was told. From the beginning all the way to the booking I was told accommodations would be for two couples and then I get to the room there is 1 bed and not even a couch and then I’m told that I would have to pay for an upgrade to accommodate two .

I wish we never got involved with Hilton. The red flags started waving vigorously the moment we agreed to a seemingly harmless 1-hour presentation, promising us 10,000 extra Hilton points and a free vacation to any destination of our choice. Hilton Grand Vacations, what a name! There’s ABSOLUTELY nothing ‘Grand’ about them. They’re like a pyramid-scheme, minus you selling their products for them. They get you into thousands of dollars of debt and will also willingly falsify information just to get you to sign their contract. I have been a Diamond-Hilton member for many years. Hilton Grand Vacations or whatever they are now, is a farce of a company. From the supposed 2-hour presentation to the salespeople that deceive you, to the irritation that follows, I have never been more frustrated. The presentation was 4 hours long. Terrible company to do business with. Purchased a time share for $33,000 and three months later, they tell me it is only worth $3,000 - $4,000. Talking about fraud, selling something that is not even worth half of what you pay for. Their own website indicates to be watchful of resale companies that have fraudulent practices, when they themselves are committing fraud. Buyer beware!

My experience with Hilton Grand Vacations and their timeshares has been a complete nightmare. Their aggressive and deceptive sales tactics, coupled with a lack of transparency and disregard for customer service, have left me deeply disappointed.
