If you want out all you need to do is call the Hilton Transition Team - Lengthy wait times on the phone (45 min) and they only do a certain number every year- we started our transfer in February and was completed in July- they even refunded us our 2023 maintenance fee. I was scammed. I planned a surprise trip to Chicago for my mom which includes flight, hotel & etc. I found a hotel near downtown Chicago so I decided to call & make a reservation when I was advised that they had a vacation package for Chicago. Can only agree with many of the negative statements made here, they are matching my experience unfortunately. Maybe add another reason NOT TO PURCHASE ANY TIMESHARE WITH HGV: In 2019 we were left with false promises (says to sell to get our $$ back), downplaying the true costs involved and implying that one could always find a great vacation spot. But the worst comes when you try to sell your timeshare: They offer to 'put it on the market' for you, which will mean you pay them 25% of the sales price or minimum $500. And here... read more

This whole mess with Hilton Grand Vacations started when we received a cold-call offering us a FREE trip to Las Vegas, NV if we attended a 90-minute presentation. During our ‘upgrade’ it was said that as a benefit of this upgrade, our maintenance fees would decrease, but they most certainly have not, the maintenance fees have actually increased. We went to a presentation for their Grand Vacations program. They promised us it would be low pressure, it was not! We were promised a vacation gift. It is run by a third party company that is very difficult to deal with and when they finally gave some trip options, the additional fees exceeded the price of just booking the trip independently. Don't get duped!

I feel scammed. To get 100 Hawaiian Miles I listened to the a sales pitch for bargain vacation. I specifically asked “ I won’t have to listen to a presentation about vacation time share?” The salesman told me no. However at the end he read a long statement quickly that stated exactly this. I told the company but because of the end statement they said I have to go to the presentation.
