Hilton Grand Vacations bait and switched us. They offered us gifts to attend a ‘meeting’ in which we were coerced into signing a contract with them. We were there for 4 hours, when we were told it would take 1 hour, at the most! We declined the salesmen’s offers several times, but they did not listen. The last thing we expected was to be dissatisfied with such a trusted brand name as Hilton, but here we are. We have purchased from Hilton in Utah and Nevada and both times we were misled by the sales agents about the benefits, cost, and availability of the unit. My husband and I recently participated in a presentation on September 13th at their Virginia Beach sales room. We met with Noah at 11 for a 90 minute presentation. A representative at our double tree hotel talked to us the day before about going with the promise for listening to this we would receive an 8 day 7 night trip to stay at the Oceanaire and only have to pay taxes and fees which would be around 400. Worst company. They tell you that you'll be able schedule anytime, then when you try to schedule dates they are unavailable. Finally was able to schedule a vacation, then got sick days before and was charged $120 to cancel. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never use them again.
I don’t understand how these Hilton HGV salesmen could be legally allowed to scam people into such a mess. We were walking by fishing pier at Virgin Beach when a lady ask if we were planning to do anything such as aquarium or boat ride. Current timeshare owner. Worst decision I ever got conned into. Their presentation gave illusions of grandeur. Our stay at the Trump Hotel with Hilton on the Las Vegas Strip for Christmas 2019 turned into a terrible ordeal. The Hilton staff subjected us to deceptive sales tactics and outright dishonesty. The trip went great until the tour sales presentation. I respectfully told my guide, Filipe, that I wasn’t interested in being an owner. He said okay I’ll get my manager and will check you all out. The Mangers name is Jackie. She was completely rude with me. She walked in and immediately started raising her voice and throwing accusations of my partner and I being rude and completely disrespectful. Hilton grand vacations in Sedona AZ, hands down worst service. First of all when you’re catering to the customer you cannot be late. The art of sales is about the person not the product. You have to make the customer priority. During the pitch( army recruiter here) is the same old rapport building that was made of lies. At the end of pitch I said no because I’m not interested.
