My husband and I have learned a hard lesson after buying a timeshare from Hilton. We have already spent $5,000 and have not received any of the benefits that were promised to us. We’re dumbfounded by the absolute lack of communication from a company as big as Hilton Grand Vacations. We were lied to, manipulated, and coerced into signing a contract with them. We declined numerous times over the course of 3-hours. We took time to write the executives of this company a detailed letter outlining all the issues and concerns we’ve had with Hilton Grand Vacations, and we’ve never even received so much as an acknowledgment of that letter. Our experience with Hilton Grande was insatiable a lie from hell. We were pressured to purchase and were never told about the fees and the increased cost. The decrease quality of rooms..the rooms are horrible. The interest is horrible all full of lies. The Staff at Hilton Grand Vacations urged us to convert our contract to HGV points, but all the promises made turned out to be false. It's important to remember that when attending a presentation, especially for a timeshare, it's crucial to do your research beforehand and not to make any impulsive decisions. Always take the time to read and understand the terms of any contract before signing and do not let the salespeople pressure you. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. I received a threatening letter from ********** ****** regarding my property at Orlando Vacation Suites II Condominiums Associates Inc. aka Hilton Grand Vacations Club. The letter asked me to complete legal paperwork with would give my Deed back to Orlando Vacation Suites II Condo. Ass. in lieu of payment. I was unaware any payment was needed and my personal login page shows that no maintenance fee, hoa fee. taxes or other fee are due. I want to say upfront that I haven't yet taken my vacation, but I just finished paying for and booking it, so I am reviewing that experience. The booking experience has been such that I will probably never book another vacation with Hilton Grand Vacations, and will likely avoid Hilton hotels moving forward. Got an email which I thought was Hilton Hotels since I'm an Honors member. Email said stay at New York Hilton Midtown or Hilton Garden in Central Park and price was so low I clicked purchase now. I though it was to good to be true and it was it was some time share affiliate. When I called to see if I got the dates I put in for they started talking about "other properties" I said no I purchased Midtown hotel location deal option. I was contacted and I purchased a 4 day 3 night vacation package. I was asked where I would like this to be. I could not even think when they called but it sounded like a decent deal.
