September 2021 To Whom It May Concern: On March 21, 2021 we booked a 2 Bedroom Grand Plus room at the Elara in Las Vegas for September 8, 2021 to September 14, 2021 (*****************). We have been owners in the HGVC since 2005. We have stayed at the Elara at least eight or nine times. We always prefer to stay in a corner room (2BP) and have always been accommodated in the past. When booking our stay on the HGVC website, we booked the best room available. Keep in mind that on this website, there is no mention of a corner ro... read more

We spent about 3 hours listening to the sales speech about what a good investment this would be and how excited They were to have a new member in the group. We always had issues trying to book our stay where and when we wanted. There was always an excuse about the and location not being available. Not too long after purchasing my husband was diagnosed with and died from esophagus cancer. I knew that I would never be able to use it and my family agreed that they would never want it. When I contacted HGV they were not willing ... read more

Since we became members over 8 years ago, we have never been able to make any reservations. Nothing is ever available, even after we upgraded because we were told this would improve our ability to find places to stay. It did not. This started in Myrtle Beach SC on April 15, 2012. The sales rep. was named Grace Martinez and the meeting went for 5 hours. The initial maintenance fee was $1,152.90 per year. Cost was $55,584 (paid in full). Contract 93-6086. We upgraded in Myrtle Beach SC on September 24, 2014. The meeting lasted... read more

The "advantages" we were told were that this is much cheaper to maintain, had better resale value due to Hilton's worldwide appeal and properties. We were also told by Mike in 2015 that frequent opportunities to get "extra" stays (especially in Hawaii) were present at only $100.00 per stay. We were interested in the Sea World Resort but were told that was not available. Instead, we were directed to Parc Soleil. During the initial visit, we were also told that our annual costs would never go up more than $100. The benefits of... read more

Wilbur P We are not sure who to contact regarding our problems and complaints we have with Hilton Grand Vacations Club. My wife and I have been owners over eleven years. While staying at Las Palmeras, we were contacted by a Hilton representative to attend a sales presentation. On October 19, 2019, my wife and I listened to a sales pitch about a Hilton Grand Vacation time share in New York City that would give us elite status. The more we said we could not afford the price to get to elite status, Mr. John Martin lied to us. H... read more

We went for the vacation club stay. The hotel was great, the time share meeting was bad. We spoke to Shonte Gibson and his supervisor for three hours. Shonte was rushing us because he had a birthday dinner to get to. We told him we were undecided and he offered to hold the membership until we got a chance to crunch the numbers properly. We gave a $500 deposit and asked repeatedly if we would get the deposit back if we decided not to go forward. We were told many times that we could have our deposit back. After looking over e... read more

Set us up big time! Promised a 4 day vacation for our time and 145.00 we drove 15 hrs Labor Day weekend and they had NO rooms booked for us! The hotel said it happens all the time with Diamond! I Called them emailed them and never heard back from them! So we went with Blue Green instead! Thank God we rented extra rooms for our family and the hotel still had one room left!

They lie at sells pitches, use high pressure, promise resales @ much high points value, promise rents are going higher and rents can cover the yearly maintenance fee, etc. ALL LIES TO MAKE SALES! Run, don't walk, out of any sales meeting! They only care about taking your money and loading you with debt forever!! Very unethical, dishonest company!

Business response:

We hear your frustrations and do apologize if our previous reply came off insensitive, as this is never our intention. We have reached out to our Hospitality team to open an investigation for your concerns and your case manager should be in touch within five business days. To follow-up or for any other help needed, please reach out to us at *****************@diamondresorts.com. -HN
