I keep reading how sorry Hilton is about lack of satisfaction. Sorry is the right word for the biggest scam ever. Everything they tell you is a lie. The biggest problem is there is NO availability for where you want to go. They keep selling these time shares and do not increase the number of rooms. We have visited areas where they supposedly have HGV accomodations. Well, they may have a few rooms at a certain locations but most rooms are not open to HGV members. RE: I purchased my timeshare with Hilton Grand Vacations in 2014 and trying to stay 'somewhere' where I want to stay. I only purchased this timeshare as I was told many times that Hilton and Grand Vacations were the same company. I found out after, they were not. We were made to think the points we had could be used for other vacations such as cruises. Unfortunately, they can't tell you the conversion rate and when you figure it out it is 10 points for dollar (but it took over a week of phone calls and being told to call someone else to learn this.) Save your money and just book the trip with a travel agent.

This is the first negative review I have written in a long time. I am a physician and am used to being treated with respect. I usually consider myself an intelligent person but am very disappointed with my own utter stupidity in falling for their sales pitch. This company is a total scam. We were manipulated by their salespeople and it has been nothing but stressful ever since. This purchase is preventing me from owning a home. We have not been able to take any vacations with this timeshare and do not see ourselves utilizing this whatsoever. We have already spent nearly $5,000 on something that we have not been able to use. Be careful when dealing with Hilton Grand Vacations, don't believe anything they say! The primary reason for my wife and I buying our timeshare is that we were told it was a real property purchase with a deed and mortgage. Our sales rep specifically said that it's an investment with a constantly increasing value. Down the line, we found out that there is NO real property attached to a timeshare, let alone any value. Our experience with Hilton Grand Vacations has been a complete and total nightmare. When we purchased the Time-Share, we were advised that we could sell back the time share at any time. We paid the cost in full and obtained full title. Hilton is now telling us that they will NOT buy back the time share. We have offered to simply surrender the property back to them. It is such a nightmare to deal with my current reservation, 6 day/5 night. I made the reservation on September 11, 2021, I told sales rep that I am not sure which island of Hawaii I will be going to due to uncertainty of my job relocation. The agent said I can always swap the location between honolulu and maui when decided, and I can secure the price of package by paying its deposit in advance at that time.
