Do NOT sign a contract with Hilton Grand Vacation until you have read it thoroughly! The sales people tell you what you want to hear (lie) to get you to sign and then don't give you a chance to read the contract because they "already went over those things". You WILL end up stuck with something you did not actually want!! Our sales lady said we could shift our vacation hotel dollars that we were already spending into a "club" to get better vacations, where we'd have "ownership of property". There is no property. I have never been so upset or disgusted with a company in my life. Hilton Grand Vacations is a huge, multi-million dollar a year company, so we assumed they were safe to put our money and trust in. Now I see how they make all their money! Everything is a lie and a scam with them. I should have known a free vacation was too good to be true. VERY UPSET! I agree - would leave 0 stars if possible. Got sold on this over two years ago and still can't use it - but have been paying tons of fees! Can't sell it back even though in hardship with covid! Hilton won't work with us and told us to sell it ourselves or pay it off in order to sell it back to them. Can't travel due to covid, can't keep affording payments and extra fees not to "lose" points, and feel stuck! The salesperson knew how hesitant we were(my friend attended with me) they took up our entire day. We kept telling her no and that we weren't sure. We asked if we could have time to think about it and we're told no, that day was the only day. The next day, we see a whole new grp of ppl going through the same process as us. We didn't ask for the presentation again, just time to think. Ultimately we were worn down and agreed to a very small pkg. We have been HGVC owners for almost 20 years. We did business with Hilton because their reputation for customer was first class, we enjoyed their properties, and when we had questions or problems it was easy to get someone on the phone who could answer us or fix our problem. Boy times have changed! I recall Hilton sold their timeshare operation to an independent company who only trades on the Hilton reputation and has no interest in preserving it. If you choose to buy a timeshare with Hilton Grand Vacations, please read this first and go in with your eyes wide open. The first lie you will be told is that their presentations are 90 minutes long. I have been to at least 10 of their meetings and am always there for 3+ hours. The salespeople all seem fairly nice until you start declining their offers. When you decline enough times, another person will come over and try their pitch on you. All of it will be misinformation and they will leave a lot of important details out.... read more

I want to leave zero stars. I have been a HGVCCLUB owner for over twenty years. The first ten, were fine, the last ten are horrible! There is absolutely no way to get any answers regarding benefits and ownership. I have always paid annual dues and fees promptly. Phone lines never answer, tell you to email, and no response is received. We experienced door moldings falling on our heads, wet towels left from previous guests in machines and none in the bathroom, "brown substance" on toilet seat (despite door sticker indicating C... read more

Get ready for the additional fees to start. They don't do real estate like normal transactions. First, you have to an additional activation fee after making the purchase. Then when the HOA statement comes in and it will be for a full year assessment, giving no pro-rations because you did not purchase it until June. Hope you can get into a resort when you try. The 3-night minimum stay will kill you as there are multiple opportunities for only two nights which cannot be reserved. Finally, don't even think about trying to do an... read more

I was invited by a friend to go to Las Vegas for a free weekend stay at Hilton. This offer turned out to be a bait and switch, with the key factor being we just had to attend a so called short ninety-minute presentation. The short "ninety minutes" presentation took up a good five hours of our time. I want to warn anyone about attending the presentation, they will practically harass you with different offers. One deal being better than the last deal, and all being offered "just for that day." You won't be able to just say "no... read more
