Hilton (formerly Diamond/formerly Monarch Grand Vacations) has already been awful! I called to book a stay at one of my "Monarch" resorts and after speaking to them, I learned they will no longer honor some of my contract (the whole reason I got suckered into this scam to begin with). Although frustrated, I finally see a way out and will be seeking legal guidance to get out of this! The amount of money I pay in maintenance fees for the time I can book.......I can stay ANYWHERE, and a much better place! Do not fall for what t... read more

I have no clue how this company is still in business. We bought a membership because we were told they had a 'free use' at all KOA campgrounds. At the time we had sold our house and were living in our trailer full time. We asked and verified with every person along the way that it was 'FREE UNLIMITED USE' at all KOA campgrounds. The sales manager came over and verified that he had just gone on a vacation and used the 'perk'. Yes, they had a representative reach out to us and they asked us our side of the story. Their reply was simply 'I am sorry, there is nothing we can do because you signed a legal document. We purchased a timeshare from Diamond employee Eric Hayward on Dec 6, 2018. At first, we told Eric that we couldn't afford the down payment. We went back and forth a few times, and then Eric said, "I'll be right back. I have to go do something." When he came back to the table, he revealed that he had been talking with our friends who were in another room for a different sales presentation. Eric told us, "I just talked to your friends, and they said they'd cover the downpayment for you." We shouldn't have gone along with him ... read more

I think this is a scam, I've asked for a refund and they provided no option. I purchased a package before covid and was not able to use it. We finally found a date to use it but they won't provide childcare as states on the contract. We also asked to stay in a hotel which is not listed on my package. All I want is a refund to what I paid for. Already call the customer service several times and no hope. Do not get the package!

I'm Disappointed in several things. One the presentation was not true. They said we could safe are points and that would reduce are maintenance fee. Not true. In order to understand the contract it would take several hours to read. At the time of the presentation it was several hours sitting there and listening to his sale pitch, nothing was mention about if we had the time share for several years and we decided that we didn't want it what option we had if any. I've been a member since 2011. One of the worst financial decisions I have ever made. At first, it was okay, however, the annual fees have been escalating rapidly and the level of service has been declining. Have purchased at least 3 additional getaway "deals" that I have not been able to use because the locations are "not available." I cannot recommend this company to anyone I like. Keep your money. Vacation ala crate.

Complete Scam. Not sure how they are maintaining their rating because it should be an F. Booked a package late 2019 and couldn't travel because of Covid and people in our family being high risk. I'll spare you the details, but STAY AWAY! DO NOT BOOK A PACKAGE OR PURCHASE A TIMESHARE! HGV still calls me multiple times a day to sell me a new package, but not once have I heard from them to make right my previous purchase. Grifters. Can't believe they're still allowed to operate.

We wrote HGV to detail what we were promised vs reality and we are in shock of the oblivious reply letter from HGV. It was complete boilerplate that offered no real solution or remedy to address our two page letter detailing gross misrepresentation & misleading statements made by HGV sales reps on ownership. We don't need to talk with any more Club Counselors. We have and have tried to make it work, but the reality of ownership versus what was promised is way too far to bridge and is unlivable for us going forward. The reply... read more
