The VIP package we purchased has been such a disappointing experience. We purchased 7200 points for a 2 bedroom and there was never a 2 bedroom open so we had to take a 1 bedroom. That is worth 7200 points yet because we have a 7 night stay it costs 7200 points...such a rip off. We won't buy. It takes 25 minutes to get through to anyone. Had been trying to get ahold of Hilton or a rep that could help me since last December. They don't answer calls or emails though. And when they do they send emails from departments NOT people so there's really no client care at all. Anyway, the last straw was when they called (because I was late on a payment and not because they were trying to help.) I was fed up with them trying to get my money but NOT addressing my issues. Have been a Hilton Grand Vacation owner for years. The properties are great though the most popular are usually not available to make point reservations. Whatever deal you make, it is guaranteed that it will actually cost more than you were told, and/or you won't get everything you were expecting. This is an organization with no integrity!!!
Now that Hilton has acquired *******, let's see if this company can hold its subordinates accountable. The lying and stonewalling from ******* leads me to believe that they are not even a real company that is regulated. They are SO disingenuous I don't think they're even led by strong leaders. PLEASE do NOT ever purchase anything related to Hilton Grand Vacations, it's not at all how they present themselves. The fact that that the BBB sees all these reviews/complaints and allows HGV to continue, speaks volumes. We paid off our loan finally after total regret/remorse of ever purchasing and can not even get HGV to send us our title. Hilton Grand Vacations gives me scam vibes and Hilton Honors are complicit. I called to reset my password and was transferred to HGVacations offering a package for $167.00 I was sold a dream, told that I would get an email with 11 resorts to choose from I was told that the dates I discussed with the Hilton representative would be available and not to worry the presentations are conveniently located on the resorts without worrying to travel to a different location. We were sold a 4-night, 5-day stay at their resort in Maui where we would have to just listen to a presentation. Well when we tried to book it (just a few weeks after paying for it up front) we were told there is no availability there for the next year for us! We were told to keep calling back and see if anyone cancels or the resort opens more slots! I bought a trip for 4 day / 3 night stay at an area hotel or resort PLUS $200 Spend A Night On Us Certificate for $281.37 for me and my wife. Covid happened and we couldn't make it. So I spoke with someone and paid and was told I had to pay an additional fee to extend the trip pass the package date and I did. I've been trying to reach someone and no response has been made. I would like a refund for the trip and the additional fee I made.
