Don't be fooled by Hilton Grand Vacations offering free trips for attending their sales presentations. They will lie about all the wonderful advantages of owning a timeshare, calling it an "investment", but it is all untrue. Unfortunately, we did go to a sales presentation and were subjected to over 4 hours of high-pressure sales shenanigans. Hilton Grand Vacations is simply a scam! We were in Las Vegas had to attend a presentation. All was well until after the presentation when they separated everyone. That's where the pressure came. They had us sitting across from one guy and another two or three standing next to us or behind us. A very pressured situation!! I never thought I'd be put in a bullying situation like this as an adult. Traveled to Hilton Grand Orlando location with family of 4. Representatives walked around the pool trying to get people to sign up for what seemed like a great deal. Everything the rep told me and then filled in on the paper was incorrect. Called and tried to book our dates and was told unavailable for any options we could travel due to the sales meeting being full not bc they didn't have the accommodations. These people are absolute scam artists. They call you and lure you in for a very discounted hotel in a destination. They don't tell you any of the stipulations and make it nearly impossible for you to get information / give you horrendous options for booking. You call them and they're all mean and unfriendly when you try to reschedule and it put the worst taste in my mouth. I absolutely hated these people. DO NOT DO THIS IF THEY CALL YOU!!

Enough is enough. If you care like you say you do then you don't treat people like this. I sent a letter at the beginning of May. They responded that they couldn't find my account? WHAT? So, I sent them my member number. Then we sent the member number and they ghosted us. I can only assume it's because they can't FIND MY ACCOUNT and we are already canceled like we are asking. This company has caused me so much grief, I wish I could just get away from them! My husband and I were Hilton owners since 2015 when we were originally conned into a contract with false promises of being able to stay at Disney Resorts. The other lie they told was the one that's affected me the most. At the time, I asked what would happen to the timeshare if my husband passed. Hilton Grand Vacations has duped us into signing a contract we really knew nothing about. We are so fed up and want out of any connection we have with them. We would give HGVC zero stars if we could. Their salespeople were not completely open and honest during the sales presentation. We feel as though we were coerced into buying the timeshare. The thing that we find most disturbing about this is that we were never told our children would be forced to take over our timeshare when we pass away. Our son is developmentally disabled and lives in a residential treatment facility. There is no way we would agree to leave him a timeshare that he cannot use or pay for.
