I wrote a letter to Hilton regarding my frustrations and hardships their company has put me through. I expected them to take the time to write a letter back to me, but they just ignored mm concerns. Was finally able to get a response from Diamond on Sept. 1st. but they have the WORST customer service. They said I have 5 days to cancel, I told them, I did call within 5 days and to ask their salespeople. NOPE.... The Billions dollar company wants me to request all my phone records from my wireless carrier and then pass them on. Are you kidding me? Why don't you just check your sales phone records? In an attempt to provide wonderful vacations for our family of 8, we purchased a Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare in Florida and a second one in South Carolina. We were told that these 2 properties could accommodate our large family. The sales representative told us we were purchasing real estate that was income producing. We were interested in the program but were not 100% sure it was worth it so they offered us this great VIP option to "try" the program. Lies and more lies!!! I would rather have caught the money on fire and made smores, would have enjoyed that more and been a better use of my money than throwing it away in the Hilton trash! Wish I would have read the reviews. If you are considering HGV DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Let me first start off by saying, NEVER buy a vacation package from them, NEVER buy a timeshare from them, NEVER purchase any real estate from them. I was tricked into a too good to be true deal from Hilton as an "honored, hilton member" . The sales rep offered me a 3-night stay in Carlsbad CA and have yet to receive my confirmation. Everytime I call, I am bounced around and never reach anyone. It is incredibly frustrating. DO NOT PURCHASE or fall into this fraud. STAY AWAY!

Well this is the second time I'm trying to book a timeshare in Orlando no one informed us there were no pets allowed thank God that we checked into it we spent two months in Florida a year we're hoping to go to Orlando. Don't forget pets are like your childrenð??¢

In addition, we polled Owners a few years ago about this topic, and the majority indicated they did not want pets at each of our properties to prevent disruptions to their overall vacation experience. I feel like the practices of this organization could be considered fraudulent and deceptive. I was told that HGV had bought out Diamond Resorts which may or may not be true but they also claimed what I owned was a huge problem being in Hawaii. I made the purchase in order to be removed from my previous membership but ended up paying much more that owning that would have cost me. Yes, this is sort of a "buyer's remorse" issue but I also feel I was deceived into making the purchase.
