Hilton/Diamond Resorts can't be trusted! In the past 4 years, the Diamond Resorts sales staff have consistently lied and preyed upon me to the tune of over $400,000 in debt within a period of 3 years. It doesn't matter which resort you book; you are always required to have the "update" meeting. I have had to come out of retirement and am working 80-96 hours per week at age 69 to pay the onerous debt and many thousands of dollars of maintenance fees. When am I able to vacation? My hands are failing, I've had surgeries on each... read more

I can't honestly give Hilton Grand Vacations or the Hilton brand even a one star rating! It should be -10! We have been duped and are out thousands of dollars. We purchased into the Hilton "brand" through Diamond Resorts in Maui in April 2022. We were given all the "talk", nothing but blatant lies about how we were purchasing usage at just the right time to have access to all the Hilton properties. It was all fraudulent!! Today, (10-14-2022) we met for our so called "owner orientation". A meeting that was supposed to assist ... read more

Diamond and now Hilton have been a thorn in my side for years. After 11 upgrades and nearly $200,000, I am done with them! It's all been pipe dreams, manipulation, and frustration! On top of the massive amount of money they have ALREADY pulled out of me, I'm expected to pay maintenance fees that have consistently gone up. The free access to Disney that was offered never came to be, which was a huge factor in spending so much money. When Hilton took over, I was promised the world again, but just like before, I was let down. H... read more

HGV marketing engages in the classic bait & switch tactic. I was sold a $220 2night/3day package for the Ocean Oak HGV resort on Hilton Head Island, of course requiring the 2 hours on property sales pitch. I was told book this month for a future stay in next 13 months and get a bonus 10K Hilton Honor points. Final point, they made was booking the ocean resort during "high season" April to August had an upgrade fee of $180. I called to book my 2 nights for March and was told to stay at the Ocean Oak (where the sales pitch was... read more

After booking a room at a Hilton hotel I was transferred to someone to give me 5,000 honors points for listening to a sales pitch. I listened and then was told I could also get two nights in FL, Nv, or NY for the price of one night, plus cash to spend, and 5,000 more points. I tend to be very skeptical so I pressed the guy several times before committing, clearly asking, is there anything else I need to do if I accept this deal, and each time he assured me, no, there was nothing else. I learned a few months later after booki... read more

For people who own a timeshare with Diamond/Hilton Grand Vacations, is this also happening to you? They force you into attending meetings that they claim are mandatory, and then gaslight you about what you have been told at your previous meetings. They claim that you are saving money, but in reality, you are in so much debt because of these awful purchases. They never told you that your maintenance fees would skyrocket on an annual basis, and they certainly never told you that your children would inherit this colossal debt a... read more

Hilton has no availability when booking for their members. They have been charging me for something I can't use. They take money from us and don't let us book, so we are essentially paying for nothing. Hilton has been nothing but dishonest just to get my money. I am highly disappointed with the way Hilton runs their business. It is disgusting and straight fraud. Our decision to purchase a timeshare with them was made on dishonest information that came straight from the salespeople at Hilton. We are fed up with the games they... read more

Hilton Grand Vacations is actively engaged in taking advantage of young families by presenting the repeatedly repositioning the "dream" as just out of reach. Out of reach financially and literally because what they sell simply doesn't exist as described. They talk about investing in your family, investing in vacationing, access to Hilton Hotels and Resorts. The list goes on and on. In truth you are investing in nothing! You are stepping into a financial landmine, that will become your children's burden. Be careful, part of t... read more
