Hilton Grand Vacations have probably done its reputation more harm than good in purchasing Diamond resorts. Diamond's in-your-face marketing employees are peppered throughout Las Vegas, so watch out. We were lured into what was described as a "meeting" at the Venetian. The Venetian has no affiliation with Diamond or Hilton that we can tell outside of the fact they are willing to have scam artists housed on their property. I made my reservation with the Hilton marketing team in September 2022 with the explicit understanding I would be staying at the Scottsdale resort in February 2023. My credit card was immediately charged, I received a confirmation number, and I was told that I would receive notification Within 60 days prior to my stay regarding the details of the visit. What they tell you and what is available are two very different things. We bought points and have had a very difficult time using them. Also, the hotel rates are cheaper on other sites, the "special membership pricing" is higher

Scam! I am a Hilton Gold member. Was offered a package including 3 nights and points in Hilton Head. I was unable to book due to medical situation. I checked the availability at the 2 hotels which are offered and by rates offered plenty of availability 2/23-2/26. The hotels themselves have miserable reviews in last year. Diamond Resorts required my family to pay a full annual fee knowing 10,000 points had been sold two months earlier and required us to pay for the 10,000 points ($1708) with a promise they would pay us back. This was in January of 2021. It has been two years and countless hours of phone calls and e-mails and although Diamond Resorts acknowledges they owe the money, no one with the power to pay the refund is taking any action to pay the amount owed to us. IT'S FRAUD IT'S FRAUD The sales person waste 6 to 7 hours in Hawaii, forces us to buy $10K timeshare package by saying that this will change our vacation places.
