How do we even begin to explain our frustrations with Hilton Grand Vacations??? It is the only timeshare we own and based on our experience so far, we have no plan on purchasing any more timeshares in the future, especially with Hilton. My wife and I were both in our 60s when we made the mistake of purchasing and we were told by the salesperson that we only had 24 hours to cancel it, which sadly was a blatant lie. My husband and I were victims of Hilton Grand Vacations. We were given their song and dance and for some reason we let them talk us into the worst decision we've ever made. I still can't believe how we let them talk us out of thousands of dollars. They are master deceptors and we want to warn others. It is a money pit. I signed up far a HGV "VIP" experience that was promised to be a "try before you buy experience". The sales staff sat us down and showed us how to use their reservation system and how to maximize your points, etc. After paying a non-committal payment of roughly $1700 we were told we had 18 months to use the service. Upon the signing of the contract we were told expressly that we would receive a user logon, etc. so we could access the reservation system after 21 business days. Hilton Grand Vacations has been a huge disappointment! I reached out for assistance, hoping for some relief from mounting financial pressures in my household, largely impacted by a couple of self-serving HGV Salespeople and the response was astounding. Unfortunately it’s an overload of information thrown at you that is framed to be easy and the costs are reasonable until you breakdown the contract and after it is too late to back out you realize it is deliberately and confusing to take as much money from you

On Feb 24, 2022, we were approached by an HGV sales agent in Las Vegas to participate in a presentation that later on we realized was what is called Timeshare by Hitlon, HGV, They found all the tricks and pressure to make us sign up. Unforntuanlety, we did, and this ended up being the most stupid and costly mistake ever we have done in our life. Our initial ownership with Hilton Grand Vacations was executed through a third-party purchase, valued at about $50k. It was easy enough to buy but very hard to use, which led to some anxiety, as you could imagine. We are well versed in what should be a minimum expectation when it comes to quality and service. We were owners with both Diamond and HGV prior to moving to HGV Max last year. We have had multiple issues with almost all aspects of vacation ownership since that time and they continue to remain unresolved. In addition to an incredible amount of conflicting information provided by the customer service representatives in the various departments, there appears to be no single point of contact to resolve issues.
