During March my wife and I spent two weeks at the ****** ***** ******, Celebration, Florida. As it was an enjoyable experience, we opted to attend the vacation club presentation on March 15. Doing business with HGVC of the biggest regret of my adult life. They misrepresent availability of timeshares and put on a hard sell every time. We lost around $25,000 to them as well as lots of stress and lost sleep. They will bombard you with sales calls. Even now, years after e finally broke off our deal, i get 3-5 calls per day from sales reps from HGVC. Be warned that the services to get you out of timeshares are not much better. I really hate doing reviews, but this put my family in such a horrible bind, and I am getting no resolution. My card was double charged for my stay almost $700 after 3 nights of incidental "holds" were taken out. The hotel apologized and said they were refunding me the double charge. That was Sunday. The charge does not show on my bank end so they cannot do anything to expedite. The "hold" for $300 was supposed to be released immediately. I have never had this issue with any other hotel. IF I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE NUMBER I WOULD. They robbed us of 31,000 dollars! It's not because we didn't try using our ownership it's because they never even taught us how to use it and that was even after making several attempts. The guy Tyler who sold this to us assured us it was not a time share, and he never bothered to set us up in ;the system and said the would teach us how to get on the next day. Unfortunately, I have nothing good to say about Diamond/HGV. For many years now, they continue to take my money and give little to nothing in return. The only thing I have consistently gotten from this company are the bills! When HGV took over Diamond, I was told if I did not upgrade, I would have to pay for increasing maintenance fees and renovations on an old property. Misleading and fraudulent. I bought a timeshare vacation for up to 4 people in Williamsburg. What was provided was a hotel room with two double beds. Very disappointed. Won’t be staying with Hilton in the future.

We went to a Hilton presentation, last summer, at Kaanapali Beach Club. They were VERY high pressure. We told them we were already platinum members and that we were not spending ANY more money. I got VERY emotional, at their high pressure, and them telling us we were going to be losing the use of properties and privileges; because we used the life insurance money, that we received, from our son being killed in a motorcycle wreck, to buy into Diamond.
