After asking a round of personal questions after I said no, I wasn't interested, the salespeople left the room, walked down the hall and then proceeded to badmouth me on how I lied to them (which I didn't!), their exact words: "she's such a liar!" The whole scenario was EXTREMELY unprofessional, and uncalled for. To assume all personal matters in my life without me telling them, is absolutely absurd. I spent $20K to buy points. I was shown a list of properties including Bali and Japan, All over Florida and NY etc that I could use my points. They even told me I could use points to rent sailboats. As soon as I tried using my points, I found out that the Bali property was no longer available, the Japan property was 4000 points a night, when I could book a room there with cash for a fraction of the price. I purchased a timeshare in February of 2001. We paid it out in July of 2009. My husband died in February of 2011, since then Diamond has tried to get me to purchase into the point system. I told them over and over no, that I couldn't afford it. They let me purchased a sample. When that was over, they talked so fast and lied over and over again and told me that if i didn't buy the points, they will take my home and that I will have to pay a lot of money and etc. of course forcing me to buy into the point system!!! Liars thieves play on your emotions! They will sell you a deeded timeshare that WILL become your financial nightmare!!!! BUYER BEWARE You CANNOT RESELL once you have signed the dotted lines!!!!!!!! The 20K is spent for 3400 is pretty much meaningless. I have not been able to book any vacations that I wanted as there has not been anything available. I recently stayed at a Hilton in Marco Island- HGV property, and I had to pay out of pocket for the stay because there was no availability to use my timeshare points. What a waste of money. Whats the point of having this timeshare when I end up paying out of pocket to stay at a property that has HGV rooms? That made me extremely frustrated.

What a terrible company. I received a call to reserve a two-bedroom suite at Sunrise Lodge in Park City. Even though a time-share pitch was involved, I agreed. This was 14 Nov 19. I call to reserve the dates I want a few days later, and they tell me that "the entire ski season is booked". I asked how they could possibly offer that to me when they knew they had no rooms? This is a scam. They LIED everything. We are having sleepless nights, stressfull days and nights thinking over this. It is really affecting our physical and mental health!! Contacted them regarding the cancellation of our account but they always forwarded us to this "Hospitality Team" that will NEVER give you a call nor email. They are just dodging you always!!

I will preface by saying we thought having a timeshare would be nice but we have 2 kids under 5 and its just hard to travel with them so I am going to resale as I am just wasting money and have wasted money. 1) have had my timeshare for almost 3 years. When we got it, we knew that we didn't get a real high package but we travel to NYC a lot and thought we could use it there on our weekends.
