Horrific company!!!!!! Total ***** and should be taken down for theft!!!! DO NOT buy one of their $200 timeshare seminar, accommodation packages, as you will regret it and inevitably loose your $200. I am a Platinum member of the Hawaiian collection & Cabo Azul. I like the resorts but the marketing and customer service is terrible. I have written several emails over the years but have NEVER received a response. I have also had a major disagreement with marketing and like a recent review finally received a call from a person located in England. Like many, many of the complaints here, we have the same: Lies, deceit, and absolutely NOTHING from their 'case managers'who, by-the-way, was located in England (we are in Texas) making trying to business very difficult. Emails and phone calls not returned and their own people saying "Those are minimum wage people and are incompetent". That is the most truthful thing I have heard from a Diamond employee. For six years I paid an annual fee for my HGV program. For the same six years I have not been able to schedule a stay. They are filled, so says the customer service specialist. Yet when I call the Hilton reservation center I can get a room.

I have been trying to get a hold of Diamond Resorts International about their wonderful Transitions Program. I've heard good things about it, but the one time I was able to get a hold of a real person, they immediately put me on hold without helping me at all. My deceased mother's timeshare was fully paid for over twenty years ago. The timeshare is in perfect status as she never missed a payment. I was totally mislead during the the sales pitch. I was told how easy it was to book vacations and how great the customer service was. I have had nothing but bad experiences. It takes days to get a response via email and no one returns phone calls or offers to actually talk to you in person. I finally inquired about selling because of my frustrations. It's a shame that one has to rate this starting with one star, which could imply 1 out of five (stars) is merely poor, as opposed to zero stars, implying totally & absolutely inadequate. We purchased a sampler on Sept. 24, 2019 & upon closer inspection found this to be misrepresented. We contacted DRI on 10/12 & were promised a return call from "upper management" within "7 to 10 business days". Based on my current experience having bought a sampler package this year I would say Diamond resorts failed in costumer service they are deceitful, no integrity, unaccountable, no flexibility, worse accommodation , see people and family nothing but a bank account to profit from and keep their business moving.
