We never got any reciept or other documents stating we were released from the timeshare ownership. Called multiple times with no answers. A complete scam and rip-off! Annual fees and cost for booking anything is more than I could just pay to take a great vacation without all the hassle. Not a single promise was kept. And then when you request to resale like they state to you is an option if not satisfied, you get less than 10% back for what you paid. This should be investigated and some type of legal action taken. CW

Recently went to a presentation in Williamsburg, Virginia. The initial one-hour presentation was done in such a way that those listening were treated as mindless small children. After the initial presentation, the specific sales person proceeded to tell us that they use very low-key sales techniques and no pressure. We recently bought a points package. When we were in the presentation for over the 2hrs, we decided we were not going to buy. Then they talked us into it at about the 3hr mark. We were told we would get enough points for a 14 day vacation. When all of our information arrived in the mail, it now shows a points balance of 5000, which is barely enough for 1 week. This company is so infuriating! On December 18th we were in Orlando for vacation and were dumb enough to be fulled by all the big words and empty promises. I had brought the ticket from diamond resort at the event for $200. I was promised I would get the gift card and cruise when I book the reservation. I followed rules per the policy and booked the reservation for my wife , baby and Myself. When I went for the tour in Vegas , i was not allowed to attend the tour and I have been told because I have baby, I can not attend the tour. I think DRI is as crooked as a question mark!!!!!! In November I decided to pay off the loan, in 2 payments so I sent in a large payment. Instead of applying the excess payment ($330.) to the principle of the loan, they made another payment for the following month first then applied the balance which was only about $160 to the principal. I was sold my property in Hilton head largely on the pitch that I would be able to travel to Japan on my 7,000 points half my annual vacations by our Salesman Steve Frank. Sadly to date for 3 years it has been impossible to book more than one night (runs 6000 point for my family of 4/night in Japan). I paid extra to stay at Embassy Suites. Instead they placed me at a different hotel and when I called to see what was going on they passed me around to various numbers. Will definitely not buy anytime. Already made my mind before going. Simple for me, too bad for them.
