We attended a sales presentation with promise of a $100 visa gift card. The reps consistently stated that there was "no pressure" and to keep an "open mind". What we experienced was quite the opposite. We made it clear that the timing was not right for us to invest in a timeshare and were met with condescending attitude and repeatedly given unsolicited "advice". We went to the presentation today and was told it was 90 minutes when I signed up but when we arrived was informed it was 120. The original sales person was very nice and we told her we were intrigued but would pass, then the next person came and we told them the same thing. We had THREE more after that and I told them I could not be pressured but they continued to send closer after closer. it was almost 4 hours at that place today! Hilton Grand Vacations is a scam of the biggest degree. One only has to review the process of anyone who desires to terminate their timeshare for whatever reason. That could range from medical to financial to inability to travel. Or you just want out. They will make it very difficult and have the legal leverage to nail you for a lifetime and beyond of ever-increasing maintenance fees. I'm about to lose $20,000K to this scam. Hilton Grand Vacations sounds so great during their sales pitch (we have been with HGVC since 2014 so we have a little experience). You have your "home week", but you can "stay anywhere you want"...that's what they tell you. Right. What they don't tell you is that unless you love Orlando and Las Vegas and want to stay there all the time, good luck in getting reservations at so many of their more awesome locations outside of the US. Having a sampler for diamond resort won't get you any vacations . The person that sold us this sampler made is seem like we had so many options even after we made sure to ask him about 5 times if all the location were included . When it came to book something which had to choose Sedona since nothing is available decided to try Sedona since I live in Arizona . Diamond Resorts has for almost two (2) years declined to provide my deed to my Polo Towers Timeshare paid off in 2018! I get NO return calls, e-mails from a different person asking for the SAME information already provided (16 people as of 17 Jan 2020) and told than my completed forms have not been received for over two weeks. I received e-mails from three different people in England! I went on a presentation in Williamsburg at the Greensprings Resort. I arrived on time at 830am and waited for my rep. I was taken into a room with other guest to watch a video. After the video comes the slick talk and scams. I said NO well over 10 times only for them to continue to harass me. I had to leave because it was my daughter's birthday. My wife and I just returned from a week stay at Ocean Tower Hilton property in Waikoloa Hawaii. It was the worst resort we have ever experienced. We had no hot water for the entire week. We were in a "studio " room which ranked below an average H********** room. We were put in a handicap room which we did not request.
