I truly wish that it was possible to leave a negative or 0 rating for this company. Our experience has been filled with lies and broken promises. This is our story. While visiting Honolulu, we stayed at the Luana Waikiki and while we were booking some tours through the ******* agent at the hotel, she told us that if we agreed to spend an hour at a Diamond Resort International location, she would be able to credit us with a substantial discount on the activities we booked. I was given a two-night stay to hear a 1 hr presentation. I was reluctant at first. I went back and forth with the salesperson and he brought out his manager. I was offered bonus points plus as well as club points. I was told I could rent out some of my points to cover maintenance and club points. He told me that several of his clients had done this and after a couple of years they had paid off their mortgage. We were sold a timeshare that we aren't even able to use. It is very difficult to get more than one night anywhere and the online system with home points versus general booking is confusing. We could never find anything available with the amount of points we had or for the days we wanted. We thought we could use our points for hotel stays, but the conversion fees and number of points you need to convert to get a one to two-night stay would have to use all the points we had. I can assume that most or perhaps all that have this problem with HGV belong to the middle to lower class and do not have the means to hire a lawyer that can have some legal action pushed to ensure there practices end, not just by HGV but from all of those other agencies that take advantage of those that looks for deals on vacations. I am military and you think that HGV would take that into consideration when I found out the contract was no good for my life style. Lots of Moving on Military Orders, and even a large family. I have used the Diamond Resorts four (4) times and every time I have had to go to a sales presentation. I started out with a $200 and something bill or payment each month but how it is up to over $1000. A month. I was told the by the last sales agent's boss the last time that it would not really be that high. Well guess what I have been lied to again. If there is any way I can get out from under Diamond I will. I have already talked to a lawyer. I am on a fixed income and there is just no way I can make a $1000.00 dollar pay... read more

Very disappointed to find out there is no contact # or way to reach the same Hilton Grand Vacations VIP representative that so frequently called to sell when it appeared I might want to buy a timeshare but cannot be reached with questions about the fact that I am still being billed 145.00 a month for a VIP package that I cannot schedule. Quite disappointed though I did enjoy my vacation stay when I purchased it in September 2019.

Lies, misleading, Very LITTLE times and choices of hotels and no decent cruises. DO NOT GUT SUCKED IN LIKE WE DID. Please do not buy Diamond Resorts membership or there sampler.

I feel like I need to get this off my chest, if you are considering being a Hilton Timeshare Owner please reconsider and think before hastily making that decision. It sounds easier said than done, due to the fact that from the beginning Hilton Salespeople put on the pressure at the timeshare presentation. Kyle H. We have been fighting with Hilton for almost a YEAR NOW! WE ARE FED UP! They do not answer 50% of our complaints and will not just give up and take our ownership back from us. They lied, manipulated, conned, and pretty much interrogated us into signing their disgusting contract. We have come to realize that HGVC has 0 interest in having happy customers and are not willing to do anything once these customers are unhappy.
