Got to myrtle Beach and my hotel reservation was canceled by this company and I didn't know until I got there. I flew all this way to find out that my reservation had been canceled without being notified. I am now out $600 because this company canceled the reservation and did NOT notify me in advance. This trip was booked 5 months ago.

My husband and I purchased a sampler package back in the summer of 2018. We've been unable to use it once. We planned on using our points this year for our anniversary until the Pandemic kicked in and we were unable. We assumed that Diamond Resorts would be like the reputable companies and not charge their customers the membership fees during this time, as the service is unable to be used at no fault of the customer. Everyone we talk to say something different and never help with what is needed. Everyone I talk to has a different story then other departments . I will NEVER buy another point from them. Sales reps are the worst they rip people off, even tho you say you cannot afford something.

I have been going back and forth with the resales department at Hilton, trying to get rid of this vacations package. I had contacted them through the resales form on their website after I had wanted to give it back and they said when we bought it that they would. I was surprised to find out our timeshare was only worth a smidgen of what we were charged for it. Don't let them talk you into a sampler package! They put so much pressure on you, I don't know how they sleep at night. Because it's a total rip-off! We were such idiots to fall for this! Our package is about to expire, so I've been trying to book a vacation and they never respond! We were told that HAD to speak to someone to book our vacation. Hilton Grand Vacations contacted us to offer us a "free" vacation to Vegas. As part of the "free"vacation we had to sit thru a presentation. We showed up for our appointment that we were told would be a short presentation, but it dragged on for hours and hours. The salesman interrogated us about our lifestyle and told us this would work great for us. I purchased the "Sampler Plan" back in the fall of 2019. In April 2020 I made my first booking for a stay at a property in Williamsburg, VA for June of this year. When I booked, Diamond Resorts explained the cancellation policy to me. I understood that if I canceled within the cancellation period there would be no cancellation penalty. Because of the Corona-19 virus issue and the fact there were no flights for the dates I had booked, I attempted to cancel with phone calls to their customer service 800 number. We purchased a vacation voucher back in Dec. of 2019 and had everything checked out to insure that we were set to scheduled our 4 day 3 night stay at one of there resorts. Yesterday 6/10/20 we were told they are "not allowed to give timeshare sales presentation in the zip code you're leaving in" and that they would give us a refund. We were told that we would go through the presentation when we went on the 4 day 3 night stay and afterwords would would receive a voucher for a cruise. Bait and switch sales tactics that tarnishes the name of Hilton, so much for brand name. Not credible and lack of integrity in sales department. I was offered a vacation package to Hawaii for approximately 800 before tax.. I was not interested in the initial offer or subsequent offers until I negotiated a package that would include an additional room with a separate bathroom, as opposed to an upgrade of a bedroom plus a sleeper sofa.
