This Company is a truly SCAM. If I could give the rating of this place zero stars, I most definitely would. I got looped into this membership 8 years ago and after a month I got the membership realized that it was a complete mistake. We were first offered a free 2-night vacation in Las Vegas at the Hilton Grand Vacations on the Boulevard in 2012. We gladly accepted as vacations were not always affordable for us with four small children at home. We were told in exchange for our free stay, we were required to attend a presentation the morning after our arrival. We have a vacation scheduled before the Pandemic. We are scheduled for June 3rd to Hawaii and Diamond said we must travel or lose all our points. The hotel will be open but Hawaii has a 14 day stay at home order. They won't give us a later date to come nor will they give us our points back. We lose everything, they are stealing our points. The information provided by the sales force was wildly inaccurate. The 10 day rescind period was of no value because HGV delayed 10 weeks before providing enough information so that I could determine that what I had been told was false. HGV has been completely unwilling to respond to my complaint. It is hard to believe that any company could continue to operate in such a manner.

After paying tens of thousands of dollars to be a GOLD member, Diamond Resorts is forcing me to choose between my family's safety or entire year of vacation points. I planned a family reunion (3 rooms at Sedona Summit) for about $5000 worth of points scheduled to start on May 16. Save your money and don't buy a timeshare from Hilton. We aren't even able to use it. We have stayed at a Hilton property only maybe 3-4 times since 2007. We were promised that we didn't have to make reservations very far in advance, but we found that to be a lie. Our job schedules over the years have not allowed us to make plans far out in advance. DO NOT BUY WITH HGVC! We were completely deceived into purchasing with this company and have been asking for almost a year now to be released with them. Their customer service is absolutely awful as well as their response time. On multiple occasions, they have ignored us and completely disregarded our issues with them. Now they are sending threats of Foreclosure to us without any sort of reasoning or explanation of what to expect. Please do not fall for this scam of a company!
