A week before Thanksgiving I went shopping for appliances. I live in an apartment building and I Mention several times that there are specific hours and days when delivery can be made. DO NOT APPLY FOR A HOME DEPOT PROJECT LOAN ONLINE. Do it in person. What they don't tell you until AFTER your ********************** report is pulled, AFTER you are approved, and have the INSTALLMENT LOAN AGREEMENT in hand, is that you can only access $500 of your max ********************** line until 7 days have passed. And that is to the MINUTE of your approval (i.e. 1:32PM EST in our case), not the application. So if they need additional verification of something, CALL them asap. I should point out that if you apply in person you won't have to wait 7 days to use it. They told us the only way around this is to close our new loan account and reapply in store. But we can't close it until the $500 we spent yesterday has been applied. And we probably need to pay it off so it won't affect the new credit line.
NEVER let Home Depot do an appliance installation for you- it's worth getting your own plumber/electrician than waste your time and money with them. I tried having a dishwasher installed by them and cannot describe their grotesque incompetence that I witnessed. Let's just say the unit dramatically short circuited immediately from faulty wiring that could have caused a fire. On top of it all, I lost three days of work and many many hours on the phone waiting for them to show up and when they would, they were always forgetting... read more

I considered a complaint, but am settling for now for a review. Once the transaction has been completed a complaint may be required. I ordered a couch 36 hours ago and tried to cancel it. I was told it had shipped, even though the website showed the carrier had not received the item. This is contradictory - complaint one. I was told they price-matched. Will hold money from debit card return for up to 2 weeks. Ridiculous. You people are thieves. I should get apr on that if you holding that long. Go to Lowes I always get instant refund return on my card whenever I need.

Hoping this review will wake up H.D Just horrible service & the blame has been pushed onto another " Tough Shed" since October! Fed up with phone calls while at work to sign final satisfaction Docs to release funds, when H.D is sitting on our credit. Not happening! DO NOT HIRE HOME DEPOT!I made the mistake of doing a kitchen remodel with Home Depot and it is a complete ONGOING nightmare. The contract started in March 2022, the contractors didnt show up until July (theres a whole back and forth about that. They set a date and no showed twice.) I have been a Home Depot customer for many years. August , 2022 I was a victim of fraud. Someone used my HD credit card information to purchase items. I never let anyone use my credit cards. HD charged me $417.85. I received a letter from HD stating I my money would be refunded. I have not received my $417.85 refund.
I love this place, friendly people and very clean keep up the good work
