AT my local Grand Junction, Colorado Home Depot I was buying paint and caulk and on more than occasion the lady that worked there was most friendly and really bent over backwards to help me. She was very knowledgeable as well. They also let me take back something and gave me in store credit unlike a lot of other stores. I've had better luck with Home depot than a lot of other stores when I bought other things as well.

I bought a Whirlpool washing machine from Home Depot in November 2017, I didn't pay a lot for it as it was on sale and I bought the Home Depot Protection Plan as the prior washer (from Home Depot) only lasted 3 years. Well in July of this year (2021) the washer stopped running so I contacted the HD Protection Plan to have someone take a look at it. They sold us our generator in May and promised a July install. July came and went with no information. We called the installers multiple times and never received any communication back. We went to the store and they told us to call the installer (even though they sold the unit). After repeated trips to the store, we were finally given a September install date. I purchased a new washer on Sept 23rd it stopped working on Sept 27th called this location and was told to contact the warranty company who came out and looked at washer on Sept 29th and we are still waiting on a part and it is Oct 11th !!!. Called this location on Oct 7th and waiting to exchange for a washer that works!!! but I was told that I cannot return it (We see they do not stand by their products) The manger S******** keep relaying messages thru another employee and never spoke to me. Don't buy any appliances from Home Depot. We bought a washer dryer from them and were rescheduled 6 times .....6 times and every time nobody informed us proactively. They use this delivery service called Pimco Logistics and the customer service is terrible , they are rude and don't listen. We are taking a refund and buying from Loews.

I ordered a refrigerator from Home Depot in West Seattle in April 2021. The delivery went poorly as the delivery team damaged our walls, ceiling, and Ipe hardwood floors from their carelessness. I have reached out for months from the Home Depot customer service team without resolution and no further response has been emailed. They have blamed the delivery company (Temco Logistics). Using Home Depot for flooring install is a really bad idea. Paid a non refundable $35 fee to get measured. Number 1. no good contractor charges for an estimate. Anyway, the long and short of it is a 12 by 18 room, product that was $1.99 per sqft plus $2.50 per sqft for installation was $1986.25. Thats about $600 more than it will be if you do the math. Turns out that the "included" furniture moving includes nothing more than the couch. If your doing a bedroom as we are it includes the nightstands and nothing more. On top of ... read more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE HOME DEPOT WEB SITE ONLY. -x- NON-FUNCTIONING "ADD TO CART" ON MY LAPTOP: Earlier this year, I could use the HD website with no problems on my laptop computer. Now, I cannot add any items to my cart from anywhere on the HD site. When I press "Add to Cart" it just locks up the screen and does nothing. This is the only computer that does this; a different laptop and a desktop computer work fine. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON HOMEDEPOT'S 5 YEAR PROTECTION PLAN. Our GE washer water leaking and my husband google and found it is most likely the water valve. he called and they arrange a person. the repair person show up, take a look and told us he needs to order water valve replacement. the washer still works but just after washing we need to shut off water since it leaks. No problem. Couple weeks later, the person changed the water valve and now the washer does't work because it won't sense the water level. It keeps on filling ... read more
