Lack of communication if the poison of death for any company or relationship and your credit department verifications department as well as customer ********************** department in your stores have failed measurably in communicating within themselves and ME< as a the person looking for help and trying to fix a problem. First time call: was put on hold for 73 minutes then was told that its close to closing hour, and I would get a call back the next day in the afternoon. 2nd time: someone called back in the morning at 7:00am. Then got cut off due to bad reception on Home Depot. Never called back.3rd time: bad reception again, never called back as promised. Been three days still unable to make a claim.
Complete abandonment of customers. Had to take 4 days off work to get washer/dryer delivered and installed. They kept blaming everyone else but the fact is I bought the units from Home Depot and they need to take responsibility since I'm their customer.
Worst delivery experience of my life! My refrigerator was scheduled to be delivered yesterday 12/6 between 9:30am and 1:30pm. I was told I would be called 30 minutes prior to delivery. The driver called me at 9:03 am and told me he was 10 minutes away. I told him I thought I was supposed to get a call 30 minutes before the delivery, and he said they were finished with a delivery nearby and would be there in 10 minutes. I ordered a washing machine, dryer and two pedestals from Home Depot. The delivery date for 3 items was to be in one week but the dryer was back ordered 6 weeks. That was fine, I could wait for my dryer because my old one still worked, the washing machine is what I needed right away. But when I completed the order and paid they changed the delivery date for the other 3 items to be held for 6 weeks until the back ordered dryer was available. Extremely disappointed in Home Depot. I bought a vanity after Thanksgiving sale. It was delivered yesterday and the vanity is broken on the back and the top has 3 stress fractures and we called to get it replaced and Home Depot will not replace it. They wont help us at all. The box it came in was not damaged but the vanity was which makes it look like they gave us a good deal just to send us their damaged products and make money off the damaged product. We spend a lot of money at Home Depot, but Lowes here we come.
I ordered a toilet seat with sealed/hidden hinges online. I received this item two weeks ago, wrong, with open hinges. I called and they refunded me the item and shipped a new toilet seat out. Wrong again, the toilet seat has open hinges. I called home depot customer **********************, with no help, run a round, told me to take it back to the store. Re: Black Friday Appliance Sales Event. I opened a credit line in order to purchase a full four piece appliance package. The credit line and the order went through. I received several emails in sequence, none of which said what my credit limit was or detailed what (if any) financing options I had been granted. Ordered insert oven 8/14/21. Took off work 10/20/21 for delivery. 12:25 on 10/20 delivery man called. He is on his way. Never showed. Found out later that day that Adam ( appliance manager) canceled my order behind my back. He said someone in Customer Svc did it. I was treated poorly and told there was nothing that could be done. I didn't appreciate how I was at the very bottom of Adam's priority list. Will never shop at Dawsonville store again.
