Ordered an appliance (oven) and scheduled a delivery date. Reserved a four hour window to be ready for delivery. Received a notice the night before to be ready for delivery. I purchased an ** refrigerator in 2017 from Home Depot with an extended warranty. The refrigerator quit working the day before Thanksgiving. I called a local tech the day after to solve the issue. The issue turned out to be bigger than he was authorized to handle (loss of coolant) and needed a ** tech. This was a known issue and the subject of a class action law suit and settlement. I ordered a snow blower online and scheduled to have it picked up the same day yesterday! The Assistant Manager **** was so rude and unhelpful - I spent over an hour trying to get help with curbside and then had to go into the store to be neglected by the assistant manager **** again until I told her to just cancel my order and I will take my money elsewhere! I purchased 2 appliances from Home Depot. Both did not work from day one. Tried to get replaced, they refused. Both appliances have been worked on time and time again with the warranty and still do not work. I will never buy an appliance from them again and I have been a customer since ****. They do not stand behind their products or warranty plans. Store **** in ********* is a very racist store and I will never shop there again. Customer ********************** was rude as h*** and failed to help me. I believe training for customer ********************** would help and also teaching employees that everyone should be treated equal no matter the race or ethnicity.
Horrible customer **********************. Bought a washing machine last week. Was supposed to be delivered today. Nothing. Was supposed to get a phone call for the time it was coming but they never phoned. I phoned them. On hold for 2 hours just to be told maybe later this week. On 8/31/21 I ordered online from Home Depot GE washer and dryer. The delivery was scheduled for 10/01/21 between the hours of 8:30am-12:30pm. The delivery guy came at 7:13am and left at 7:35am without calling. Another delivery was scheduled for 10/14/21, and we received both appliances on that date. The dryer could not be hooked up by the delivery people, who stated that they are not trained to hook up an appliance designed for natural gas with the propane equipment. Placed there order 11/04/21 and over a month later still don't have my order. First time order came in damaged, second time they said that need some help from plumber, third attempt of deliver - nobody knows when it will come in, no answer from anybody. Hours on the phone and no resolution at all. Nobody is taking responsibility to figure out who to talk to. I already have to pay Home Depot payments and not having my order.The worst experience ever! Never will order anything again!
I left an item to be repaired with home depot tool rental. It took 7months for me to walk into the store and witness it with a rental tag on it before receiving my item. The manager was called, abruptly ripped off and concealed within his hand the rental tag that mentioned "clogged paint" and tendered me a 30dollar cash recall on the 71 dollar charge in an attempt to suffice me, having just witnessed them renting out my tool (after i was calling every couple weeks, months to check up on it).
