Purchased mirrored cabinet online with scheduled delivery. The scheduled delivery actually turned the order to an in-store one without any notification or information on the website regarding which store would handle the business or how the policy was different. If it was handled well, this should make little difference to customers. But the store sent an open-box, restocked item even though the order was for a new one. Words experience I ever had in that store ND the wY I had been treated. The associate Mr. ***** WHO IS THE LUMBER SUPERVISOR has a very bad attitude and violence and willing to fight with customer.
Ordered a dryer on November 5 and still have not received it. First, we were told it didn't arrive at the warehouse - this was understandable because of supply chain issues. Second, we were told they couldn't find it when they were loading the trucks. Third delivery date, driver called in sick. Fourth delivery date, no show and we're not exactly sure why. We purchased a Refrigerator 3 weeks ago to be delivered. We live on a long incline drive way. The delivery driver came to deliver at 7:03 am. I was in the garage preparing for his arrival. When I came to look he was walking back down the driveway and drove away. I thought he may have went back to get a smaller truck. I looked at my phone as I also had it with me at all times and noticed he never called and left a message. My husband said he had a call from someone at 7:03am. We checked and no message. Terrible customer experience. I bought a dishwasher (Dec 6). They missed the first delivery date. The Bosch truck showed up at the delivery warehouse at 10:00 am rather than 7:00 AM. The delivery could not happen the next day. Instead it was rescheduled 2 weeks out. Second delivery attempt: they had the dishwasher but not the right hose. They want to reschedule a third appointment the installation another week. I am going to hire someone to install. I have no confidence in their ability to do the job correctly.
My wife and I ordered two (2) exterior doors and two (2) storm doors in February 2021. The measurements were taken subsequently and the order submitted to the manufacturer. The doors arrival and installation was scheduled for late spring ( More time was needed due to factory slowdowns resulting from Covid.) On the first install date the two exterior doors were installed. The rear storm door wasn't made properly but was installed and a new one ordered. Horrible!!! Horrible!!! Horrible!!! Placed order for a dishwasher Dec. 7, 2021 for Dec. 11 2021 delivery and installation. Spent ALL day home waiting. NO ONE called or showed up. Spend hours to reschedule. Rescheduled. Home Depot showed up this time but said the hot water valve is leaking and they can not installed the dishwasher. Told me to call for a plumber first to fix the issue. I did. Plumber checked the valve. It was not leaking but because the dishwasher is broken the water leaked through it. I ordered a new entry door 6/2021 when it was received 9/2021 the store had provided the wrong measurements the door had to be reordered and this time not received until December. I called for about getting a discount because I paid $2500 for a special order door that took 6 months to come in and the district manager advised the discount was given when they didnt charge me to reorder the door after the stores error with measurements. I will never get home improvement from Home Depot again.
After a house fire destroyed everything inside, we replaced our washer/dryer units with a whirlpool set from Home Depot. We purchased both with the 3 year protection plan. In the last couple of months, the washing machine would stop in mid cycle. A repairman came out and replaced one part, although he was a little confused, thinking there should have been more parts sent to me to install rather than the single item. 2 weeks later, the problem returns, same issue.
