Absolutely the worst experience with our carpet install. I had to wait for installation and there were times they never showed up. When they did they left the house and reported the job was completed. They had left the bonus room completely stripped of carpet and pad with no new carpet installed. They covered the gas key so we cant use our fireplace and a closet was never carpeted. After no satisfaction I was not going to schedule another appointment. The **** locations enable fraudulent activities and unethical contractors over their paying customers. They allow their contractors to lie and leave Home Depot Customer customers with poor workmanship. I am so disappointed in Home Depot. I contracted with them to have a fence installed because I trusted Home depot would deliver quality and great service to find out that they *** not stand by their work and that they allow their contractors to take advantage of their customers. I purchased a new generator ($900) in mid Jan. did not think to start it being new. Now Feb 23 went to start it and it will not start. Took it back to Home Depot and was informed first it was out of the 30 day warranty then told they have to send it out for repair work. ITS NEW WHAT REPAIR WORK..... Then told I need to pay to have it sent out... WHAT ???? Yes I need to pay $35 up front to get my new generator looked at. If you are planning to hire Home Depot for impact windows, doors and/or sliders--THINK TWICE AND HIRE SOMEONE ELSE ANYONE ELSE!!! Where to start...the people they use to sub out their deliveries have to be the laziest people I have ever encountered. I work in property management and unfortunately, we have to order a ton of appliances. I have yet, in over a year, had a delivery where the appliance was actually installed. There is always an excuse as to why they wont set it up or haul the old appliance away.

This used to be a good company to do business with but now it is pitiful and should close their doors. I order kitchen cabinets to come to my local store and instead they are sending them to a store two hours from my house. Worst deliberate bad service I have ever encountered dealing with Home Depot when trying to get a refrigerator (which was paid in full) delivered. Delivery was rescheduled (by the delivery service over 4 weeks) or no-show with no phone call. Once delivered, the delivery men would not disconnect my old refrigerator so they left and left my new refrigerator in the middle of my living room. Home Depot said it will be another week before someone could come out. I explained that was not acceptable. I have not heard a word back fr... read more

Worse experience when trying to have flooring installed. After I paid to have someone come out to measure, I went to the store to place my order and they were rude and not helpful. The flooring I wanted was not in stock and they acted like they didnt want to order and wouldnt check to see if other stores in they area had in stock. I asked for a refund for the measurements and was told I was out of luck.

The staff has always been very helpful and courteous, even through the scamdemic. Recently though I ordered a wood stove online and had my husband pick it up. There were NO customers in the store in the middle of the day on a Tuesday, the associates were lolli-gagging around together with their noses in their phones, ignoring anybody that walked by.
