Home Depot does NOT stand by what they sell. Purchased a washer and dryer from Home Depot in Oct. received them in November. Washer stopped working after one week.. was told by Home Depot that they couldnt do anything about it. I needed to call whirlpool.and THAT has been a nightmare after a pump replacement and a new control panel installed I STILL do NOT have a working washer. Impossibly bad experience. I ordered 1 washer, one dryer, one stacking kit, installation, 5 year extended warranty.waited 1.5 weeks for delivery, at the end of the delivery window I received a call from the driver that the order was damaged. I was on and off hold for over an hour to set up another delivery.Waited one more week for Delivery Day II, no one showed up. Terrible customer support! I ordered a new GE refrigerator from the Palatine Home Depot which was delivered and installed on on time and the old fridge hauled away (good delivery service). Five days after delivery the refrigerator stopped cooling and all things in the freezer spoiled. I called Home Depot and they said to call GE, they were no longer responsible for the refrigerator. I did call GE and a technician came out and said it needed a new part (I have had this fridge less than a week) which would not arrive for 4 wee... read more

Their customer ********************** is atrocious. We ordered a dishwasher and between ordering and receiving and then getting it installed I spent so much time on hold. We were told people were going to call us back and that didnt happen. I even filed a complaint with their head office and none ever reached out to us.

Home Depot remodeled our kitchen and it was a horrible experience. Cabinets arrived broken and then our project manager forgot to reorder them. We were promised a Home Depot gift card for the extreme delays, which never arrived. A couple months after the cabinets were installed, the hinges started ripping out. The installation was half assed and unfinished; we had to call multiple times to complain about things that werent done. The caulk around the top of the cabinets is peeling away from the ceiling. I purchased dryer and washer at ***** ** location. Requested when delivered dryer needed a left swing on door, which was noted on sales order. Appliances delivered Jan 24th, dryer had a right swing and the service tech stated they didnt know how to change. Called store and they scheduled another tech to come following week to correct. Day before tech scheduled received call tech would come between 10 and 5, took off work to be here; at 430 tech calls and says I dont how to change the swing and wont be coming. I ordered a dishwasher on 12/31/2021. I scheduled 3 delivery attempts at which they did not show up despite calling me twice to give me a time on two of the days. On 1/21/2022, I gave up and cancelled the order. Despite numerous calls and a trip to the store, as of 2/3/22, I still do not have a refund. These are incompetent and uncaring employees.

Filing a complaint is likely not worth it so here goes with my review! Well I think this says it all ***** complaints closed in last 12 months!!!
