When you call to talk to somebody in a certain department;NOBODY answers calls, when being transferred to a department, and if somebody answers, it is the wrong department. Other times they do not know what you are talking about.
Worst experience! DO NOT ORDER CARPET! Installation Feb 1, 2021 - carpet had defects noticed AFTER installation. Lines through the carpet in just about every room. Now I'm bounced between their chosen installation company and them to get this remediated. Bad experience and very costly!! Even called CORPORATE today and was told I'd need to wait another 3-4 days while their "Partner" assisted. Wanted to purchase something from Home Depot and planned to drive over a hour to pick up. Was on hold for over 30 minutes trying to reach someone in the electrical department. Representatives consistently hung up on me after being on hold. THE WORST
WARNING!!! Don't waste your money and buy extended warranty for anything at Home Depot! I bought a refrigerator + a 3-year extended warranty from Home Depot. I was told that if I don't file any claim, I'll be refunded 30% of the extended warranty cost once the plan expired. They said they'll just send me a check for the refund if I don't make any claims after 3 years. One of the windows being was finally installed in September (supposedly in June), however, with a wrong grid that the installers didnt ever notice. Now it is going to be March 1st tomorrow. No communication regarding the replacement. The issue with the wrong grid was not the only problem I have had. There was a different window that was broken at the time of delivery and it was not replaced until mid February. A very poor service.
I ordered an item from Home Depot online store that clearly said it came with (2) 4ah batteries and a charger. When it was delivered it was only the tool. Upon contacting the help desk I was told that it was a website mistake and the best they could do was offer a 5% discount.It feels like poor business practice to punish your customer for mistakes made by the company. I asked for a refund and will try to avoid buying more from Home Depot after this experience.
Typo in phone number led to me contacting support via phone and text 5 times and still having to reschedule my delivery 2 times. Every customer agent is telling me the phone number is updated but the delivery agency still can't contact me because they are using the wrong phone number. So frustrated that I have wasted hours of my time to try and get an expensive appliance delivered.
If i could give them a minus review i would give it. I specifically checked with the floor installer and he told me vinyl flooring doesnt require an underlay . But home depot measurement services department added an underlay for **** usd extra . When I tried to request them to remove this extra charge the manager lady ******* simply hung ** in me.
