I booked a room here late on a Friday through Hotwire,upon arriving at the hotel I was told that they didn’t have a room to accommodate me so I reached out to Hotwire for a refund,they said that I had to contact the hotel.The hotel contacted me to tell me that because I booked through Hotwire there was nothing they could do,but the Sheraton not Hotwire turned me away and you refuse to rectify the situation.I have to go through my bank to get this issue resolved instead of the hotel or the booking party trying to come to a re... read more
Staff was very friendly and helpful from the registration, concierge, valet, bellman and especially Glendale with housekeeping (she was just delightful and oh so helpful) Great location downtown and easy on off interstate. The only reason why I didn't give a higher mark was that the parking was as much as one night stay (while all parking downtown is expensive, bring lots of cash for parking) and check in was a cluster. I have stayed here for many years (due to dance conventions being held here) and a have have always had good experiences until this past weekend. Sad to say this hotel booked a hate group the same weekend that over a thousand young dancers ages 5-18 years old form all nationalities and genders to preform and learn ,(who did not fit in this groups views of their chosen) came together to do what they love to do DANCE. Terrible experience this past weekend at the Sheraton downtown Atlanta. It took us almost an hour to get checked in to start enjoying our stay. With 50 to 100 people trying to check in the Sheraton only had to ladies who excellent at there jobs checking all those people in. Then wen I finally get to my room there’s no tissue in the bathroom. For a hotel with upscale potential this should be a no no!!!
