We’re supposed to have a King room. Instead we have two twin beds. Worse experience ever!!!!! The front desk seems to have overbooked. Really???? So unprofessional!!!!!
Front desk staff needs to learn compassion!! I was under a MANDATORY evacuation due to Hurricane Florence and went to Atlanta. My first night there was booked directly with the hotel and cost about $220.00...nights 2,3,4 & 5 were booked through booking. com and cost about $1500.00. When the MANDATORY evacuation was still in effect I had to add another 2 nights. During my check out on May 30, 2018, around 14:10 I asked the front desk lady to refound everything that was charged at my credit card because I wanted to pay with CASH. At first, she just refound the US149,16. Then I told her that I wanted the FULL amount returned and paid in CASH. Then she charged me with the full amount of US399,82 that I paid with CASH. I have been coming to Atlanta for Dragon Con for ten years. I always stay at the Marriott. This year, in an effort to avoid the room grab insanity, I booked a room at the Sheraton. The reason I did this was to qualify for a legacy room. Only to find out, today, that the merger with Marriott has negated the legacy program. Super disappointing, Sheraton. Be better. We used to love this hotel. Great pool and the club access makes the stay perfect. Been coming here for DragonCon every year for several years now. But I see that management has chosen to thumb their noses at their loyal customers. Club access now only available to people who spend almost two months a year at the hotel. So if you're not a travelling businessperson you're chop liver as far as the hotel is concerned. Thanks for the terrible customer service.
