Perfectly good waiting room in the ER, empty, and what it was built for - but no, would rather have patients and family members of ER patients wait outside in the cold. And then only admit 1 person with the patient.

Brought my grandmother for a procedure and it was the worst experience!!! They scheduled her to check in at 5:45am but when we show up(Early). She isn’t going to be let in Until 8 am. They have us going back and forth from memorial to the outpatient pavilion 4 + times. Stating in radiology she’s not in the system etc etc. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I had surgery on my back yesterday. My surgeon Dr. Kureshi and his staff are so phenomenal. This hospital is awesome. They took such good care of me.
Not all nurses are willing to give updates to immediate family member of a patient, you need to understand that if there is someone that doesn’t speak English fluently and is the primary contact person might not be able to communicate with the secondary contact person. Be more mindful about those situations.
